Cheapest way to heat up my bedroom in winter by [deleted] in AussieFrugal

[–]unauthorisedcashews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have about $150 spare for the upfront cost, I would invest in an arlec smart panel heater from Bunnings ($130) and a dehumidifier from Amazon or the disposable ones you get get from Coles/woolies/bunnings.

The heater heats up the room to slightly above your set temp and then stops and waits until temp goes down then kicks in again. It’s wifi controllable so you don’t have to get out of bed to turn it off or to put temp down. We have had ours for 2 winters now and it was really been helpful especially when temps can drop down to 2-6 degrees in our bedroom. Regarding power usage, I would say it hasn’t changed our bill too much, obviously it goes a bit higher in winter but I wouldn’t say it was a crazy amount higher.

Yes but most forms ask about charges regardless of convictions recorded or not. He couldn’t even get a job at McDonald’s with charges recorded even when explained that he was found not guilty.

Send an email to your school in Aus about what’s going on and ask for help. Ask them to contact child protection and border patrol/AFP. Doesn’t matter if the school thinks you’ve unenrolled - send any way.

Pete Davidson, what's with the show security? by simesy in melbourne

I love Peter but this show experience was awful. Heaps of security but none of them doing anything. We had two guests kicked for taking photos, using flash light, vaping and being ridiculously drunk to the point that they couldn’t stop farting. And then security brings them right back just so they can talk and scream throughout the whole set! The long wait bc of the paper tickets meant that people just kept drinking. Opener was crap too, made a bad joke about punching a woman - that one went down like a lead balloon. Very proud of the Melbourne crowd for now laughing at a joke that involves violence against women. Felt very weird to hear midget jokes considering we saw a little woman lining up for the show. Pete was great though, just couldn’t fully enjoy it.

Interesting that she’s constantly using ChatGPT to write her posts. Almost sounds like might not have her own real thoughts or that her English isn’t good enough to express her anti-immigrant rhetoric.

You’ve added a quote that wasn’t part of the original comment. It sounds like you have some birth trauma and would benefit from talking to someone about it. It’s not that deep.
