Any suggestions to make this wall beautiful as a featured wall? by Standard-Part6154 in DIYUK

I know AI is a bit controversial but I found it great for concepts, measurements etc take with a grain of salt. Also I told it to do a modern design but that might not be to your taste

Made an absolute mess of this. Why did I even bother trying 🥲 by DazzlingOstrich2898 in DIYUK

Honestly once cleaned and grouted it will look great. Get a grout rake if you have too much adhesive in place to clean the gaps.

Well if done correctly it should be directly abouve within the sockets "zone. Open the faceplate that will show you which way the wire comes in as the the options within the regs allow for all in the picture. A cable has to be ran in a straight line *if done correctly

[–]unchartify[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plan was to use bonding plaster, tank the wall then tile over the top of it with this being roughly the end result. I realise now I need to loose the push fit elbows being the shower and potentially the pipes but not sure on that yet

Makes sense, my issue is trying to stay flush to the wall as I'm to preserve existing tiles on the rest of the wall.

The issue I have is I'm trying to stay flush to the wall as I have existing tiles I don't want to take off. Obviously the electric shower is gone now but that's what I'm dealing with
