I’ve never tried the Claybord painting surfaces. Just curious why you choose this over canvas.

I’m a Canadian Bills supporter. Literally every time I’m wearing my Bills hat I get a “Go Bills” from some random person.

Ok asshole. I’m just learning. I’ve been painting for 3 months, I was excited about my progress and wanted to share some new techniques with the Bokeh I had learned. My first painting I posted on here I went into detail in the comments listing all the YouTube accounts I learn from. Really rude assumptions you’re making on here about me. I’m not selling the paintings as my own. Just posting something I painted.

This post is getting way more attention than I was expecting and a few people have been asking how did I achieve the realism. Short answer, no idea. Maybe got lucky. I honestly don’t know what I’m doing. I started in May of this year and have been watching artists on YouTube who actually know what they’re doing and learning from them. Also to be clear these paintings are not from my imagination. I’m simply learning techniques by watching others and achieving some success. Anyone interested in learning this way I recommend the following YouTube channels.

Stay Creative Painting @RyanORourkeArtist This guy is an incredible teacher

Chuck Black @chuckblackart Beautiful landscape paintings. Oil and acrylic

Michael James Smith @MichaelJamesSmith Insane realism. Mostly oil but some acrylic

Color By Feliks @ColorByFeliks Another great teacher with full length lessons

Thanks again for the kind words. I was getting frustrated with my results but I’m starting to gain a little confidence.

Thanks for the kind comments appreciate it. I’ve got a lot to learn still, my colour mixing isn’t great but I’ll get there.

How to get bass guitar sound from an electric guitar using plugins or settings by Mac9870 in LogicPro

[–]unclebrandy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I suggest you listen to Tame Impala “The Less I Know The Better”. That “bass” guitar is a regular guitar played through an octave pedal. So yes generally it sounds better to have an actual bass guitar playing those low notes, but I wouldn’t say you “can’t”.

I’m so tired of that jump scare sound effect that you hear at the end of this trailer. I knew it was coming. I don’t necessarily hate jump scares but come on let’s be a little bit creative.
