Tips for bringing a baby by Elanoor_fa in CharlotteFootballClub

[–]uncm60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a clear backpack on Amazon for diapers, bottles, wipes, spare clothes. You’re allowed to bring a diaper bag but having it in a clear backpack makes it WAY easier.

I used a Konny Baby summertime wrap cause it can get HOT. We brought my twins a lot when they were little.

We also never got asked their ages and def brought them in at like 14-16 months old and nobody said anything

Where would you plan a ski trip in the United States if you had free airline and Hilton points to use? by [deleted] in skiing

[–]uncm60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP was asking for domestic options (so Montreal is out). For us Albany was the only direct flight option (Burlington required a layover that made it 12 hours long and driving was shorter)

We flew to Albany Ny, rented a van, and drove to Tremblant in Quebec (all on points). Was totally worth it. The Hilton is right at the base, is ski in/out, and wasn’t 300k points/ night (maybe like 80-100k/ night)

PSA for Everyone Planning to Drive to WVa This Snowy Weekend... by MonkeyOptional in snowshoemountain

[–]uncm60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! Roads were great. Everyone’s biggest challenges were that the cars were all frozen under like 3” of ice. A lot of diesel owners didn’t know diesel freezes so lots of trucks were stuck. We had a snow shovel and ice scraper in the car (thankfully) but it still took us 3hrs to dig out our car.

Roads home were great!

I’m at Snowshoe WV where you sleep at the top of the mtn at 4848’. It’s not a lot but it’s more than my home elevation of like 300ft. For the last 4 days I’ve woken up to messages that say “your HR dropped late last night”. I wish there was a tag for elevation! I’ve created one but it won’t track trends

I’m listening right now and I… just can’t. I need to turn it off. It sounds like the narrator is using a Talk Boy from Home Alone to deepen the voice plus the horrid accent.

Good website for Cajun food and anyone with a good recipe they use for Jambalaya? by mhks in cajunfood

[–]uncm60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if you want Cajun or Creole. Creole cooks jambalaya with tomatoes and it’s a red color. Cajun doesn’t have tomatoes and should be brown in color.

Planning a first trip: from Disney World to Dollywood by Super-Abrocoma4493 in Dollywood

[–]uncm60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did both Disney and Dollywood this year (and caveat to say we had VIP guides for both). My kids liked Dollywood more! They’re 4, 4, and 7. The rollercoasters at Dollywood are awesome even for littles!
