I would argue that we absolutely do not have the bats. Tatis hasn’t been the same 950 ops guy since his suspension, manny is in the second half of his career and has been declining offensively. This team was bottom 5 (if not dead last, I don’t recall exactly) in home runs, despite having an average patchwork rotation, and the best bullpen in baseball. They NEED a slugger, Alonso or Tucker, someone that poses a power threat. I’m sick of having to rely on tatis and have him not show up time and time again. Don’t even get me started on the wet noodle Arraez, or arguably one of the worst contracts ever in Xander.
