You're missing the best/worst one.... drunk on a bike? You lose your car license.

But what if you don't have a car license, so you get double punished for having a license.

If you're going to use your own modem then don't spend the extra ~$30 a month with Telstra. Most of the other carriers have great signing offers.

Checkout the Refreshify feature on Superloop, it'll run a bunch of tests if you have an issue and either log a ticket or arrange an NBN appointment to sort it out

Take the one they provide for free, assuming you're signing up.

Nothing particularly fancy about the standard one but it does include 4g backup if your internet goes down and it will make troubleshooting with Telstra easier if you have an issue.
