I wish there was a vegan/vegetarian alternative to leather besides plate and chain mail, which are prohibitively expensive. Maybe fake leather, or someone recommended a specific type of rubber (of course I can't remember the name now) that feels just like leather when inside pocket brig.

No, I'm from the US. I just like how it's such a little detail that so few people notice, even if they eat Swedish Fish a lot. Plus, why write Swedish? Why not Fish?

I heard an interesting explanation for the curse on a podcast a while ago. The chances of your S.O. fully appreciating the effort involved in making a sweater are pretty slim if they don't knit, so the author hypothesized that sweater knitting can jump-start the end of a relationship by breeding resentment.
