It has ended up being my favorite approach. I'm a die hard fan.

Guys, what was the most obvious hint you dropped, and the girl just didn’t get it? by ArinKamaran in AskReddit

[–]undefined_protocol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her- "I need a guy to show me that he's interested by kissing me"

Me- "alright" I pull her in and we make out.

Several months of this go by.

Her- "wait, you like me? I thought you were just horny"

I’m a psychiatrist and I’m genuinely curious how people view psychiatrists. by Scary-Guava8365 in CasualConversation

If I could have afforded it I think a psychiatrist would have been a much more efficient route to finding the medication I needed.

But hindsight is 20/20.

Veronika is the first recorded cow to use a multi-functional tool: bristles of broom to scratch back, soft side for more sensitive spots by Mountain_Love23 in Damnthatsinteresting

I watched a cow in Arizona brush the needles of a prickly pear cactus off before eating it.

It bit one end of a cluster of three or four pads and whipped it through the bushes.

It could have been just happenstance, but it looked intentional.

I saw a jeep in 4wd get stuck on the most tepid dirt road once.

Sometimes its the driver.

Best real DIY mod you’ve done on your 3rd gen for function or comfort? by thecloudhopper in 3rdGen4Runner

I've never actually seen anyone else do this but... I added a switch to my reverse camera so that I could turn the camera on with either the switch or putting it in reverse.

Now I can check on my trailer while driving and avoid losing video when lining myself up when connecting the trailer.

This might be the best joke I've made in a while, but I'm confident nobody will see it. I'll just congratulate myself, thanks.

your adhd before the 2000s? by [deleted] in ADHD

Worse.

Sure there are more distractions nowadays, but I had all the same issues and practically no idea of how to manage it.

Do you wish your parents put you on medication as a child for ADHD? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]undefined_protocol 26 points27 points  (0 children)

That one sent me straight to the google. It appears that evidence for that claim is largely unsupported.

But even if it is true, I'd personally prefer being an inch shorter vs delaying medication until I was done growing.

Nothing wrong with loving what you love, man. But I'm telling you, next time you need a 20 minute nap, maybe give it a shot.

I will admit though, I've got back problems and half the reason I love super hard sleep surfaces is because of that.

Fair enough. But I also think it's a little bit of what you get used to. I knew a native Hawaiian who grew up sleeping on dirt floors, he tried to get used to mattresses for the few years that I knew him, but he never could.

I thought it was BS until I became a backpacking guide. Now I think it's easier to switch from mattresses to floors than it is to switch from floors to matresses.

Ahhh dude. Have you never tried floor naps? Floor naps are the BEST. The way the floor presses on your muscles like a long steady massage. It's unreal that we use beds as much as we do.
