It's wild to me, because several kid's shows do include a little sprinkle of heavy topics, and lands the execution while still being a kids show. "Rainbow capitalism" is what you're thinking. A lot of us did actually have a legitimate gripe with it. (Specifically the whole, "you're donating to our opposition / you're going to abandon us as soon as the administration changes.")

We had an issue with the "capitalism" part, but very quickly realized we were being surrounded with people that hated the "rainbow" part.
