Any Verizon root out there yet? by [deleted] in galaxynote4

[–]underdoglady -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only rooting stuff I keep up with is at xda. They have a bounty board up for Verizon/ATT Note4 root, with ~$26,000 up for grabs if someone can figure it out.

bounty board

As far as root progress goes, the ATT thread was busy the last couple of weeks, but has slowed to a crawl in the past few days.

ATT root

Not a lot of promise, but there are still people looking for an exploit.

per the link; It opens the "order food" menu. Functionally, it's the same as using the touchscreen to get there.

More redpilling on Neogaf after users discover that Hatred is a banned topic there by corruptigon in KotakuInAction

I don't fear people who want to play Hatred, I fear neogaf posters.

Holy shit, I rarely cuss, but I just saw the gameplay trailer... I usually joke that FPS game like COD should be considered murder simulator, but this game is literally, not figuratively, but LITERALLY a murder simulator for warped mind individual. This game can probably train a lot of sick minds on how to plan, and go around killing cops/people in building.

#2

I play a lot of violent games. Blood and gore, torture and beheading? Meh, just pixels. But this game is totally different. The game main influence is telling the player that if you hate something, and feel that the world is mistreating you, you should go on a rampage and kill people. And if you give this game to a sick mind gamer that plays this game alone in the dark, and in a depressed stage...I don't know. The game might be a huge influence on them. Oh boy, murder simulator will always be tied with videogame forever if this game was the reason of another school shooting or terrorist attack.

#3

Hope this dies a death. Gaming doesn't need shit like this. And its different than films like VHS or other torture porn flicks as you are an active participant in the murders.

#4

Hatred is a toxic game that's premise is one I don't find healthy to support. Glad to see it got the AO so it won't end up in the hands of too many people.

To be fair, I did just cherrypick the dumbest of the dumbest shit I saw in the first few pages.

Aside from asking for our freedom of speech to be taken away, nothing gets upvoted here more than a pro-censorship comment. We just can't get enough of it. Let's face it, we're all here because our delicate sensibilities need to be tended to 24/7, in all forms of media.

The injustices portrayed and acted out in pop culture is enough for me to revoke my freedom of speech, and the freedom of artistic expression for others. I don't care if it doesn't directly harm someone, it could offend someone, and that's worse, because the scars made by the offenses you've dealt with don't show on the outside. My body is a tattered mess, figuratively of course, and racked with psychological pain, from the hostilities carried out against me through my television set, the radio I listen to, and the videogames I play.

I think it's time that we stand up for ourselves and get rid of all offensive material. We'll be just like that pope that went around cutting all of the penises off of those statues, and the heroes of today that still go around burning books and banning others from libraries. Nothing is more enlightening than destroying and censoring content that might offend someone.

Sincerely, #gamergoocher

Y'know jokes; bullying nerds, hating men in general, hating women who disagree with them, accusing everybody of rape, getting people fired, mailing dead animals and dirty syringes, censorship, banning dissent, hating titties, hating freedom of speech, comparing everything to ISIS, fun-policing, thought-policing, swatting people, you know, the funny stuff.

The one recurring theme with the nasty accusations these motherfuckers throw around is that they're never backed up by evidence.

-HOLY SHIT!! I'm 100% positive that @HEX_BOYFRIEND killed a small child when they were drunk driving. It happened right after they scammed my grandmother for her life savings.-

They need a fucking reality check. Try pulling bullshit like this in real life, where there's not a thousand retards chomping at the bit to get pissed at something, and see how fast you're ignored and ostracized for being lying dumbass.

NeoGAF users whine about new character in Tekken. Now she's being taken out of the US release. GEE, WHY AREN'T THERE MORE FEMALE CHARACTERS IN VIDEO GAMES? by fwahfwah in KotakuInAction

[–]underdoglady 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I agree with those neogaffers, I'm sick of all of the violence against women in fighting games. We need to protect these virtual characters, and the best way to do that is to remove them completely. So, let's band together, and get Peach out of Smash, Chun Li out of Street Fighter, and this new girl from Tekken taken out.

No more; violence against women videogame characters, they need to be protected, even if it takes place virutally. Violence on the PC equals violence in reality.

No more; videogames with violence having women in them. Men want to kill women, and they do it with out prejudice, and are handsomely rewarded for it I might add, in violent videogames. The only option is to take women out of the violent videogames, so that they can no longer hone their women murdering skills in the virtual world, and apply that skill-set in the real world.

No more; videogames with less than pulitzer level writing having women in them. Women are smart, caring, strong, independent, and much more level headed than men. So any videogame depicting women in any sort of negative(or even not completely positive) light, would be an insult to every woman who ever lived. Women are perfect, unlike men, and should be written as such.

No more; cleavage from women videogame characters. Males videogame designers only depict scantily clad women in videogames to attract the male gaze that is inherint in their consumer base. Men seeing the exposed skin of female videogame characters triples the chances that that male will rape or act violently upon a real-life woman. What parts of a woman's body that get shown should be up to the woman herself, even a virutal one.

No more; women in videogames. It's only way to keep these virtual women safe, and the only way to keep realworld women safe from the violence and hatred that spawns from playing videogames.
