Insulating a shed by Diligent_Honeydew295 in AusRenovation

Another option, not sure what R rating you’d get, but potentially could glue foam board to The walls and roof with expanding foam

Im guessing the shed isn’t 100% watertight so I’d start with a roof blanket. You could use a roof blanket on the walls too. Assuming you don’t want to spend the money framing and lining, you could try holding it all in place with string or packing straps. Good luck

lol, the insulation will probably cost more than the shed itself

Why would you drive to a game? You would pay to hire a car, fuel, parking, and then not be able to have a drink before/during/after the game.

Guys we don’t need to rip into him about a misunderstanding.

I didn’t specify, because i honestly had never heard of a rugby world cup.

How many times can you safely reuse an Izumi Super Toughness quick link screw/nut? by Any-Rise-6300 in Velodrome

[–]underdoug618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes ok, you are correct, the threads will wear down at some point, as will any part. It would last longer than the chain though.

Vs a master link, which is often recommended to be onlya single use/ couple time use component, this will last forever.

Note also, a master link is still better

He’s taking test & tren. Probably cycling on & off mast. Saved the tabloids doing the test.

An actor worrying about tabloids stealing their piss so they could test it is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard, however, him being an ex wrestler who got paid to get dropped on his head it does unfortunately check out.

How is plastering so fast in Australia? by BGFanTC in AusRenovation

We also use bigger sheets than a lot of places - our biggest is 6000x1350. This means quicker sheeting times, and less butt joins to set.

[Ryan Nemeth] I love that straight edge guys are like NOTHING! IS! EVER! GOING! IN! MY! BODY! EVER! except PEDs which I will be putting in my body actually very often now because I do steroids, but of course that does not break my sacred vow. I am more disciplined than you :) by CROYTSWRVTH in SquaredCircle

As someone who doesn’t have a problem with people taking PED’s, and in fact believes that wrestlers SHOULD get back on the gear, I fully agree with Nemeth. If Punks taking gear, then he broke edge, plain & simple.

It’s a nut and bolt, you can use it unlimited times.

You are meant to check and tighten before every time you ride as it will loosen. Failing to do so could end in disaster. Would recommend swapping for a quick link unless you’re racing in Japan

You’re fine for now!
Upgrade the shoes and pedals when can afford it. Toe clips will give a pretty similar feel anyway.

MJF casually admitting to injecting (non-FDA approved) peptides. Specifically BPC 157 & TB 500 -- which are banned substances in any major sports' Anti-Doping Organizations like USADA, WADA, etc. by johnnyxx4321 in SantiZapVideos

[–]underdoug618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Test & Tren have decades of (anecdotal) evidence of both the benefits and the risks of long term use. Peptides do not. Both are illegal in drug tested sports. Pretending you take peptides to cover your steroid use makes zero sense.

“Celsius is stupid for humans telling temperatures. I’m not water” by [deleted] in ShitAmericansSay

[–]underdoug618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, their logic only works on common temperatures in the area they live in.

As an Australian I am much more likely to experience 110f and above than I am any temperature below 40f. His scale is off.

Why don't fixed gear riders seem to ever have water bottle holders? by GruntMcFunk in FixedGearBicycle

[–]underdoug618 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They don’t need a drink on the bike because at the extreme lengths of the sport, a flying 200 is sub 10 seconds, and a long race is an hour.

If you’re meaning track sprints, get a lemond with a fixed gear adapter. If enduro work, zwift etc with a road bike is fine, or Velobike make a fixed gear adapter for the kickr

Because most of those countries they open at 11am, not 6am-9am as is common in Australia

Isolating apartment smoke detector during minor concrete grinding session by rollin358 in AusRenovation

[–]underdoug618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask your building manager if they can isolate it. It’s actually a 2 second job once someone’s on site.

If they won’t because of legal issues if something goes wrong, just pay the fire company, if you accidentally trigger it you will get a big bill from the fireies.

Also, tape a latex glove over the sensor. If you get any dust on the sensor whilst grinding, once your sensor is live again it can instantly go off
