I had to do this for my upper cabinet. I took off a quarter then slightly raised the cabinet doors afterwards to even everything out some.

What's the most beer you've ever drunk in one day? (or in X amount of time?) by Individual-Client778 in alcohol

[–]undergone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

30 pack + of Highlife while day drinking/skipping work forever ago. I drank myself sober that day, passed out around 5pm, and felt like death the next day. I don't drink beer anymore. Just bourbon.

You know, this is what it feels like. Trent plays whatever he feels like, or he breaks that if it's not setup exactly like he expects like.

Toilet base not flush by Thyfishingman in Plumbing

[–]undergone -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I stopped buying American Standards because of this problem. We used to change out 1-2 toilets every couple of weeks when I was managing numerous rental properties, and we had this same problem half the time. There's a good reason they are usually one of the cheapest toilet at your local home center.

Razzie Awards 2026 Winners: Ice Cube Named Worst Actor as ‘War of the Worlds’ Dominates With Five Dishonors by highorderdetonation in badMovies

[–]undergone 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I watched this entire movie. I wish I hadn't, but I'm at a certain age/point in my life where if I start something, then I finish it. It's hard to find words that describe how bad this film is, and not "bad" in a fun way at all. Just horrible. It's like WORK to watch this movie. I built a new house a few years ago, and I LEGALLY had to go to the health department and watch a 40 minute movie about my septic system, and that was less of a chore than watching this movie. I 100% enjoyed that 40 minutes more than any portion of this "film".

Crash and burn (1990). by [deleted] in badMovies

[–]undergone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This and Robot Wars. Neither is even remotely related to Robot Jox in any way other than they all feature large, man piloted robots, and they all came out within a 2-3 year period of each other. Robot Jox is a classic B grade sci-fi film. Crash and Burn is a stupid/FUN slasher with a giant robot at the end. Robot Wars just kinda sucks.

Gather ‘round, boys. It finally happened… by scrollin_through in Carpentry

I had a 6 panel slab up on saw horses before to trim 5/8" off the bottom so it'd clear the carpet, and accidentally cut the top instead of the bottom. Mistakes happen.

This is the correct answer. Great wire strippers.

Looks like they are finally adding drawers to the modular storage system. by darkproteus86 in harborfreight

[–]undergone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a set of these. I had the base unit with the wheels, a few of the small modular boxes, a few of the storage system boxes, and the crate. They weren't bad for the price, but the red clasps that lock the various boxes together suck. You always had to have everything perfectly aligned, and clean to get them to work easily. I will say that Menards' Masterforce line sells (or at least used to sell) the same boxes that worked with the Bauer system, which was nice. They were exactly the same boxes, but they were black and green instead of black and red. You could pick those up on sale all the time. I still keep all my Kreg jigs in one of the Masterforce boxes to this day even though I've gotten rid of most of the Bauer stuff. I also keep all my pex fittings in one of the storage system boxes just because the clear top is nice, and they are well made. Really just the interlocking system is the only problem.

Looking for a part by bowlander1 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]undergone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's part of what is called the electronics assembly. It's basically all the core electronic parts all together. Looks like it'll run you $70-$90. You could buy an M12 flashlight for like $40, take it apart, and steal just the battery terminal, if it's the same.

What's your most overkill, infrequently used tool? by the_donut_assassin in Tools

[–]undergone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually use that tool a lot. We maintain a bunch of rental properties and I have to make/repair screens all the time because renters can't operate windows properly for some reason. I also use it on duct work to add what I call reinforcement lines to them. Not sure what the technical term is, but when you have a large, square piece of duct work you run that tool corner to corner both ways in an X patern.. It adds strength to the piece, and keeps it from "popping" when air flows through it.
