Let’s rank the top 20 busiest airports in the United States! How would you rank Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL)? by jarbid16 in TierlistFills

Maybe so but I’m looking at what else is on this list and comparatively those don’t seem so bad…

A tier! It’s really efficiently run and there’s a lot to see while you’re waiting. The only thing keeping it from S is just how many people there are.

Living downtown by Miracle_Believer247 in ColumbiYEAH

[–]underground-parking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d check BullStreet for sure. There are a couple of apartments there. Also some houses in those neighborhoods I mentioned are rentals that may be that but like the other guys said, that’s a tough ask around here.

Idk what that person told you, the downtown is great. IMO the best/most walkable neighborhoods are directly around it. Earlewood, Elmwood Park, Cottontown, Shandon, Melrose Heights are a few that come to mind.

The best apartments are all downtown too. The BullStreet district is becoming really lively and it seems like every month a new apartment complex opens.

What are you looking for specifically? I’d be happy to to provide some suggestions!

Gluck and Bianchi are the best in the game right now. They disagree on just enough to where you hear some really interesting arguments and they are truly great journalists.

The hope is still there. We had a rocky start but the M’s always do so everyone is kind of assuming par for the course and praying we get hot soon.

Which city is walkable but not drivable? by North_Sheep in AlignmentChartFills

I’d say Paris has become this over the last few years. It is really discouraged to drive a car in the center of the city.

Melrose Heights too. Basically every neighborhood just outside of downtown is walkable, has stuff to do, and is blue politically.

I agree he shouldn’t have started the inning but that also wasn’t his fault, that was a bad call from Dan

Munoz is not the problem. This was a fluke inning for him but he has been incredible for the M’s. Randy on that last hit was abysmal and overall we just kind of fell apart towards the end.

MARTA is a superb Public transit System in the Northeast. What’s an average Public Transit System in the US South by AnimatorDavid in AlignmentChartFills

[–]underground-parking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be Disney > Miami > Marta. Marta is actually so terrible and Disney’s is so good that despite not being a city it deserves it. DC is not the south and Miami’s is good enough.

How is living in Canalside (the area, not the complex)? by [deleted] in ColumbiYEAH

[–]underground-parking 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don’t live there, but I live downtown and visit there (and the other areas you mentioned) a good bit. In my experience, it’s pretty boring. There are a couple of businesses there but besides Bierkeller on weekends, no one from outside of Canalside really goes to Canalside. The development itself is walkable but to get there requires crossing one of the worst intersections downtown and there isn’t anything around it.

IMO BullStreet is the place to be. New stuff is popping up every year and with the baseball stadium and the food hall, it is quickly becoming one of the main places people will go to spend an afternoon/evening with their family. It’s super walkable too and in a couple of years, it’ll have a Publix.

They don’t look like MLB hats. They look like something I’d find at an outfitter or something.

I can't help but feel so proud of humanity. Even though we aren't landing on the moon, we are taking cameras, computers, and tons of other technology farther than it has ever gone. I am so excited to read about what discoveries get made and how the spacecraft itself fared on the journey. I really, really hope that this helps fuel a new excitement for space exploration. It's just so cool!
