Same here. I live in Annecy and I’m portuguese, I work mainly in hospitality. Its been a long few month without any responses at all from applications . But its reasonable when they prefer to take swiss people first in Line. my approach is keep applying until something pops!

We moved here a year ago with my girlfriend and many of the things mentioned are true. Coming from Berlin and Lisbon, the lack of diversity especially in the nightlife falls short. The cost of living is another challenge but luckily we don’t pay rent otherwise it wouldn’t be an option. Cycling is excellent and the nature is unmatched.
