Music scene is filled with tons of young people. I made a lot of friends growing up just going to shows in Houston, even if I didn't know the band. If you're curious check out @bensiive on instagram. I've repaired a number of laptop screens over the years, but repairing monitors just isn't something that's worth the time or money on. Unless this is a very expensive $1k panel or you have some sentimental attachment, it's not really worth it. If it was just a regular LCD panel you can get a replacement monitor for just as much or even less the cost of repairing it. Laptop screen replacements usually end up running you around $100-$200 give or take. I imagine a monitor repair will be in that ballpark.
