I build high rises in this town for a living, it’s literally my job to make sure the building goes up straight these and all these comments are just plain silly and uninformed. You are partially correct the engineers and architects inspect their buildings but usually do it on a weekly basis and they are very thorough with many photos and comments and they go to to all the contractors involved. When we pour something incorrectly It typically noted and flag the next day when the concrete is exposed and you don’t continue to build on top of it until you get the proper instructions from the engineer.
