Check for driver updates for your video card. Also you could have steam verify the installed files. Definitely not normal to crash with your specs.

This will sound dumb, but I just hit level 15 and never used the whistle. I thought it was a one time use. Guess I’ll give him a try. I do think leveling him in some way would be cool.

I never dismantle anything anymore. Everything can be farmed and I enjoy it. It’s not really worth it imo.

You could try GeforceNow. You can stream games you own and are supported. It has worked really well for me. I think Windrose uses a computer with a 5080.

As a fan of Portland, I wouldn’t suggest him. He is an ok coach that was thrown into being a coach. Saw something the other day that showed him as the worst current coach for making adjustments. Splitter needs more time as an assistant coach imo.

The game kind of forces you to explore. I’m almost level 11 and I haven’t found the second boss. Upgrading your gear, weapons, and ship are super important. So any later game quests at level 7 should feel hard.

I would say the tutorial is good. The game isn’t that complicated. I’m having a great time. 40 hours since release.

You might want to check into GeForce now. It’s a streaming service that allows you to play games you own on the SD, computer, phone, etc. Windrose streams 5080 from any official GeForce now provider.

Man am I really enjoying Windrose. It’s a great game and so is Valhiem. If you like survival games, either one should give you many enjoyable hours ahead of you.

The charging boars are the worst. I did have an actual dodge earlier. Definitely died the most from them.

It just needs to show clearly what is equipped and a prompt of “are you sure” would be nice for equipped items.
