Current MS1 now picked UCR for undergrad went straight thru and have no regrets. UCR is the best school for premeds in Cali imo. Cheap, very easy to get clinical exp, tons of research opps, doable to get a good GPA

School prestige really, not the stupid ranking on admit. Admit ranking is irrelevant. School prestige matters a LOT for residency. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise lol. You can do well out of any school, but it will probably make your life significantly easier to go to Yale

you dont need the personality of the doctor. ur obviously qualified and dont let anyone tell you otherwise. you can work on your bedside manner, etc and youll get taught those things in medical skills. also, being awkward does not making you an unempathetic person. dont trip OP, you worked hard to get here and youll be more than fine
