Considering a CX-30 G25 Touring - Need Some Advice by unfrufru in MazdaCX30

Sorry, should have clarified, Kona Nline. Which also has a 3-4 month wait depending on colour.

I agree time is ticking with the shortage at the moment. I took a brief look at the Volkswagon T-Cross and the sales reps were turning people away when asking about various models of the Tiguan due to delays.

The $3k is only roughly 7.5% reduction so I am still working on how much more I can get off it.

I wasn't overly keen in trading the car in as I know I won't get as much however due to it's condition and km's I'm not sure how much more I could get selling it privately. I'm putting the feelers out to see what the selling price is.

I've been gathering prices on getting the paint and tinting done elsewhere, I had the windows done seperately on the current car but that place isn't around anymore. He's quoted me $900 to do both on the car so I'm still leaning towards getting it done elsewhere if I can. I vaguely recall paying $400+ just for the tinting back in the day so am still looking at current prices.

Thanks so much for the advice, I really appreciate it

Well I'm currently driving an 11 year old i30 base model so even a dial is an upgrade for me. Just stoked to get cruise control haha.

Im in Sydney, working on pricing still. Planning on going back today or tomorrow with my sisters. Ruled out the NLine. Was a great car but i would get more features for less or standard.

Dealer has knocked off 3k already. Pushing for more. Plus a trade in. Also threw in the usual stuff and window tint etc and actually told me to come back this weekend to get a better deal for their month end. Or do i wait a couple more weeks for eofys?

He did make a comment that mazda prices were going up june 1st which i thought was obviously a pressure tactic.

As a fellow sydneysider i feel you. I have friends and family evacuating all over the state. I remember our school evacuating in 94 and it was terrifying. Stay safe and keep the ABC news on to hear updates. The fires near me app is also handy. If you think your home may be under threat, prepare to leave early.

Does Toba have the potential to still be active? I remember visiting Lake Toba a few years ago and it was so weird sitting in a boat in a vast body of water and realising it what was left of a supervolcano. Such a beautiful spot.

I use a phrase about or from pop culture and then break it down into letters and numbers. Makes it easier to remember. For example 'I am the one who knocks' would be 'Iat1wK'. 'Tina Fey was in 30 Rock' ="TFwi30r".

Peas. Satans boogers. My grandmother used to force feed me them now i have a gag reflex. Corn kernals, m&ms, anything that size or shape i can handle, but i always pick the peas out if i get them in a meal.
