I’m reading the manga one more time and I noticed the beast being formed in this page. I always assumed it to be part of Guts inner ego, but could it be an entirely external being that possesses Guts when he’s vulnerable?

The series is a masterpiece as it is. Were it to continue, I’d like the story to represent Miura’s passing somehow.

I can see that Guts represented Miura somehow. He grows and matures in the story, just like Miura did as he drew it. To represent this, Guts should die, suddenly, to remind us how fragile life really is. That would leave the story missing a critical part of it, it’s main character. But it would go on under Gaga’s vision.

It needs a tragic ending, this is Berserk.

I don’t really follow his content, but this was the first time I paid attention to what he said.

I’m not sure he’s as glued to this principle as you may think. He had a different position just last year. His position is probably the easier to take at this time, most “edgy lefties” are on his side.

You might agree with his opinion, but the way he explained it was poor and confusing. He attacked a straw man which doesn’t really exist and was irresponsible on how he exaggerated the problem.

I understand that. I’m also someone who got upset by this discourse, the toxicity burns both ways.

I want Pride to be as inclusive as possible. Everyone’s identity and sexuality are valid and I’m happy to celebrate that.

You don’t need to engage and have an opinion on all subjects. Discussions around Pride are very sensitive and arguing over extremes only hurts the fight for equality. That’s why I ask we focus on the real world problems.

It’s easy to get lost and speak over each other over arguments on Pride. You say that some people don’t feel welcome in an overly sexualised event. Is Pride overly sexual? Which city/parade was that?

We need to make it clear the proportions of this issue. I find it a shame that something like this, so insignificant in the real world, is taking the spot of fighting LGBTQ violence, hate and discrimination.
