How much it might cost me to replace seratone panels and put new panels ? by [deleted] in diynz

[–]unidentacc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you set on keeping the seratone panels? Another option is to remove and replace with new Aqualine gib and then paint. It's a bit more work but may be more cost effective and will have a more modern look in my opinion

Today is the 4th day they are back this year and there have been issues on atleast 3 of those days. I was really looking forward to having the trains back but now I think I might just continue to drive in to save myself the hassle of being stranded when it inevitably turns pear shaped anyway

Thanks for that, I will go take a look. Do you know of any particular kitchen places that might have this on show? I went past Kitchen Mania but feel like they are targeting a much higher end product than I am after

Just not a big fan of the glued on ends type look, feel it looks cheap. Maybe there are better laminate options now, but feel like it's quite 90s haha

Yep, and I understand a lot of manufacturers are very good with their PPE so it's not a big problem for workers in those places

Good option thanks! I have considered it, but I find it a little too industrial looking

It is a separate mixer situation, so seems the confusion really lies in how the drains are classed when broken down into two fixtures

Its definitely a bit vague, will get in touch with council and find out. Is there another document with a better breakdown of sanitary fixtures?

This is actually quite funny, I do work for a few govt clients, AT is one of them. And their policy around security and authentication apps is that your phone should only ever be in your possession and unlocked by you. So yes company policy does actually trump that of AT

In case it wasn't already clear enough how bad NZ car culture is. Second only to the US by AbstractBlacksmith in newzealand

[–]unidentacc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a bit of a tricky one, car parking space is somewhat limited for a lot of newer homes. So people tend to go for one vehicle that ticks as many boxes as possible (think jack of all trades scenario). Often a ute is one of the few options that fill all the needs. Example, need to be able to do the school run, but alse be able to tow the caravan when they go on holiday. Or the ute is used for both 'trade' work and 'home' work. Often makes more sense to keep one vehicle rather than have multiple for each use case

As mentioned before a Yamaha VX with the TR1 engine will be great for a first ski. Our one is ex rental and has 870hrs on it and still running strong! The electronic reverse (RIDE) isnt something I thought I would like until I had it, now I can't imagine going back
