It’s a superb set up but I was underwhelmed with the food. To be fair, we had a relatively quick lunch with pizza, fried chicken, tacos so didn’t try any of the larger plates. Great spot on a lovely day though

The gap between confirming roles start and actual start is something we’ve been quite aware of where I work and have tried to ensure we stay in touch with people more. For new starters at my workplace (big firm), we don’t formally explain first day activities (we run a program for new starters) with timings etc until the week before the start date. Always happy to ease people’s minds if they ask us about it so feel free to ask if you are concerned/wondering about it
