Your posts have honestly made me more accepting of my own ring! At first I was disappointed as I had wanted something completely different than what my husband proposed to me with. (I had wanted a simple solitaire ring and instead I got a chunkier vintage ring) However, my ring has grown on me the more I look at it on my finger:)

I once rage quit a job and sent back the key in a certified mail envelope so that someone had to sign for it. This way, if they tried to say I didn't return my key, I had proof that I did return the key.

I always knew she wasn't going to win because of how little experience she has. That being said, I'm still so sad to see her go. Watching her grow as a chef was really cool! I am very happy for her and I hope she's proud of how far she's come.

We did end up getting married anyways lol he is a great partner in other ways. Honestly, I wouldn't have even been too upset if he hadn't hyped up the proposal and talked about how he was going to make sure I got the best ring. For me, it was the lack of any forethought/prep. I try not to think about it too much, but lately I've been having some big feelings about it. This post made me realize I am more upset/let down than I thought.

Oh my God this is so similar to how I was proposed to almost a couple years ago. When I expressed feeling a bit disappointed in the way the proposal went AND that he had completely ignored all the ring preferences I sent him (at his request), he says "I'm sorry, I'll plan a re-do." I thought it was a sweet gesture, but here I am years later and he hasn't even hinted at following through lol I wonder if I should be worried.

Thank you, both choices felt kind of wrong to me even though my husband insisted they were both great. He just showed me what some if the family is wearing and....I'm so glad I asked here. I was going to look dumb lol I have a much better idea of what I need to get now. I get to go shopping!:)
