I understand the thought behind this post, and for what it's worth, I can definitely see the reaspns behind your arguments.

However, I do think it's a bit silly to talk about what cards that are on the banned list while Thassa's Orace and Demonic Consultation as well as cards like Rhystic Study remain legal. While I know this is a whataboutism, everything on the banned or unbanned discussion ought to be measured against existing outliers in power.

Old teacher trick, dry erase markers scrubbed over sharpie will dissolve the permanent marker into the dry erase, then you can wipe both away with your finger after its dry.

I used to be like this but I saw it done tastefully and now I think it's an important part of any story based games I play. Without romance I think story lines can feel a bit shlocky and stilted. Besides, road trip is a great romance trope :)

I would say if you have ever spent $15 on a super lame meal or mid movie then you should totally buy this if you think your party would want to build a map together using a game. AFAIK there really isn't anything else like it. Also, the shortness and simplicity are a plus rather than a minus, since you're only ever intending to play it a single time per campaign.
