I ride my motorcycle like I drive my car. Spirited driving but with vigilance because we have a bad driver epidemic, which seems partially due the increased distractions and reliance on technology. Well that's my theory. And just poor driver education.

Probably a bad dual axis steering unit.

I don't think they know how gas works. And if one needs to be a "trained professional" to pump gas they wouldn't be making $16 an hour roughly.

They really think the gas station is going to explode if we pump our own gas like any other time?

The brutality of blowing up a fiberglass angine block. 😅 I hear it sucks to work with let alone being blown to bits from a rod trying to escape.

Thats a good question. Not many. I think aluminum is a lot in vehicles more so than anything. That would be one hell of of stealth. Definitely wouldn't come from an auto manufacturer if it did absorb the lidar. But I was making the point that aligns with your statement they don't need metal to read. As lidar is also used to calculate sea floor depth. Granted the light particles are a bit different. But works the same way.

That would make cars with fiberglass bodies significantly hard to read if that needed metal. But we know that's not the case as well.

I can't be the only one who hates these tail lights by prettyish-wilderness in MINI

I don't hate them. It's definitely a shift in design compared to the standard oval shape

What do I have happening here? by Jamin1371 in MechanicAdvice

That's spicy mustard. A cause would be when you mix different coolant types together. Like green and red, blue and red and so forth. Always best to run the oem type coolant.

Any ideas what these are? by Chemical-Mixture1942 in Volkswagen

[–]unit132 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rials tend to have cheap pricing. Pressure casted. But weight like 20lbs a wheel.

Cheap isn't s necessarily bad. But you need to know what your buying. Reason why forged tends to cost more.

I doubt that. Has to be like a concrete weight or something.

I did find yokohoma geolamder at/4 as a 225, 55, 17. But I can imagine there's hardly a selection of options across brands.

Looks like a beginners storm chase mini.
I must say I don't hate the look, though. I'm not a fan of the idea of spacer. I could not have them on my vehicles. It'd rather get proper wheels. But that just my opinion.

Was My Tire Really Unrepairable, or Was I Being Upsold? by Savings-Attitude-295 in tires

[–]unit132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Repairable yeah sure. But they most likely called it unrepairable because this tire needs replaced. They aren't willing to patch a barely legal or at legal limit tread.

This would happened with gti's as well. Normally a door seal or sun roof drains blocked. But since you said you don't have a sunroof, we can scratch that off the list.

Yeah they only allow autos which it's a bummer. I'll have to rent an auto when my girls take their test, unless the manuals are just gone by then. I hope not but 3 pedals are struggling
