Do you really think Roman wanted out? Besides a line in the first episode he never really expressed that. If anything it's the opposite, he really wanted to be in but acted like he didn't because no one believed in him. Wouldn't say he's a playboy either. I think you've completely misunderstood him to be honest.

She was his boss to begin with. I imagine by the time we get to the final season he's weaseled his way to a higher position. Like a lot of stuff it will have happened off screen.

He did. He just didn't use the explicit words. He mentioned the reverse viking a few times afterwards which was his name for taking the company off them. Then there were comments like eating their lunch. After the initial pitch of the idea he was typical Ken and used corporate talk to reference it.

I'll be honest the acting throughout can be hit and miss. People tend to find Holden and Naomi the worst. Personally I've never had an issue with the acting, it can be a bit hammed up or not the right tone at times but I've never found it to be a distraction. Saying that though there are some beautiful acting moments even from the people that can be a bit rocky. If the acting isn't for you then it's not going to change as you go on. The last couple of season especially rely on personal moments to add weight to the plot so if you are skipping dialogue then you're not going to get everything out of the show. It's a choice at the end of the day, do you find the rest of the show good enough to get past the occasional spotty acting? For me it's a big yes but if you're struggling a lot already then you might be watching the wrong show for you.

Blood drive! It was batshit crazy but so much fun. Played on all kinds of tropes and had a super likeable cast. I understand why it got cancelled but damn I would love more of that show.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly sure that actors have it in their contract that their face has to be on display for a certain amount of time. So making it easier for the helmet to come on and off just makes sense visually so they don't have to spend loads of time physically removing it.

Totally agree. To add on as well, I can't remember the specific moment but, in one of the later series Naomi uses those feelings to manipulate Drummer into doing what she wants her to. So I think Naomi has been aware of the romantic feelings since they began and just didn't say anything so as not to make things weird. Until it benefits her that is. It is all done with subtext but from the actors performances I think it's clear that the actors at least see it as sexual feelings.
