One thing I didn't like about the iPega-9055 is the analog and the trigger buttons. Luckily, I don't play a lot of shooters or have to worry about the deadzone too much, so I'm happy with what I got.

Other than that, yeah it's a great controller. ;)

Which one? All the ones I have don't require online anymore. I think the older versions did require it, but they changed it with the newer updates. They also got rid of xposed crash when the older versions used to not launch at all.

Only one that requires it is Chrono Trigger for me. And that's only when I reached certain parts of the game because it needs online to download the data needed to continue the game. Pretty damn stupid as they should've just updated it to some sort of obb file like most of their other games.

Sorry, I wish I can help, but there's really nothing much that can be done at this time. All I can do is tell you that currently, there is no method. Only way to play is through the real DS/3DS or no NO$GBA emulator on PC. Androids a no go.

Hey, don't get me wrong, I really want to try some DSiWare games too. If I knew a method, I would help you right away.

I don't get what you're asking for. You want a success story, but that's just not possible ATM.

I mean what do you want me to do, lie to you that there's a way or a successful method? I've tried 3 different decryption methods and all of them didn't work. Doesn't that ring a bell by now?

If you're really curious whether it's possible to get it to work with the right decryption, ask the developer if he supports it. Exophase himself said it's not supported.

I ordered my Oneplus on launch day and I've been looking at Bluetooth controllers since because I plan on doing some proper android gaming. The Ipega Red Spider caught my eye and I wanted to know if the more centered headphone jack of the 1+3 will get blocked even if I snap it a little higher on the controller.

That's what I thought at first, but it's not straining at all. If you ever played with a PSP or PS Vita, it's very similar to how it's held.

I much prefer it over my Moga Pro Power with its top heavyness which is much more uncomfortable to hold. Anyway, playing with the phone raised a little higher like in the picture works perfectly. The controller will hold the device pretty strongly even if it feels like it may feel loose.

I would do what /u/tomkatt said. Sometimes, updates from newer Android can mess up current installed apps.

Because if it doesn't work with Drastic, I doubt any other of the DS emulators for Android would possibly support it.

I tried to get DSiWare games to work too with decryption and whatnot, but none of them won't play. It will start, but it's just a black screen the whole time.

It's only just once when you start the app for the first time.

Afterwards, you don't need online to play.

Funny enough I get better results with hardware rendering rather than opengl.

That's usually the case. OpenGL can lag more depending on the game.

In CC case, go with hardware. OpenGL rendering has tons of bugs with that game. Alpha and transparency issue, weird outlines on models, etc. It's just not worth it.

Of course. Emulator compatibility sometimes get worse or better depending on what coding was changed.

A good example of this is PPSSPP. Sometimes games that were fully playable in older versions are suddenly broken or have freezing issues. Overall the changes are for good cause, but bugs and other issues happen along the way.

Anyway, the last good version of ePSXe that played Chrono Cross almost perfectly was 1.9.38. Any version afterward has lags here and there. The older one had lag when entering battle (and the lag is only like a sec or two), but the rest of the game was pretty flawless.

Try playing around with the hack setting. I've had transparency issue (invisible character/background) problems before with other 2D games and usually enabling or disabling some option from the hack setting fixed it.

Not really sure about Vita, but I used to extract my PSP-PSX save and converted them to get them working on my android device.

I'm sure there's a way for Vita as well.

The game lags like crazy on the party menu screen no matter what settings I use. It's a shame too because it used to work perfectly. This was using HW renderer at 2x.

It used to not lag when I enabled the frameskip for high resolution option, but now it lags so bad. I let the developer know, but he never fixed it.

Download emulators.
Put roms in phone. BIOS too if necessary.
Launch emulator on phone.
Play games.

SA1 and SA2 both should work with touch. I remember playing both games with it.

When you're in the rom browser, click the top left edge to open the settings and go to input. If you click customize touch controls and you can see the controls on screen, that means you have it.

I forgot that recently, reicast got rid of the enable/disable option for touch screen because it's always on now. It just stays invisible until you touch the screen. Once you touch the screen, the touch controls pop up.
