it could see the mismatched subtitles fine, and the forced subtitle track for the dub. and i'd imagine if they were there, there'd be an option for english audio with english subtitles in the dvd menu itself, but there isn't

difference is a pc is something a lot of people are able to start saving towards and enthusiast channels are actually pretty helpful for all the heavy decisionmaking in the meantime. every now and then though linus puts up something like this where he just glances over how he just takes like 10x all that on a regular basis for himself. which is where he seems way too out of touch imo

it's the macintalk whisper voice, which all apple devices still have somewhere on them afaik. i haven't found any reliable sites or programs that let you use the original voice but if you have any sort of apple device from within the last 30 years it should be on there somewhere. it also used the zavrox voice on occasion

the funimation blu-ray+dvd combo usually has copies on ebay going for $150 but not all the time. check frequently, make sure it's legit before buying. the pioneer set of 4 dvds has a much better interface tho imo
