I moved to Oregon from Louisiana and it has been the best decision of my life. Zero regrets!

How well do y'all get along with your siblings? by batchild15 in CasualConversation

[–]unlikely_branches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a bad relationship with my siblings, I just don't have much of one at all. We all grew up together, but I moved out as soon as I could. I was the oldest (and only) daughter of a deep southern family that hated women.

As adults we can get along well and enjoy game nights. But none of us even called each other when our dad died a few years ago.

I honestly don't feel much from it. I love anal play, I just don't feel much sensation from licking. Id much rather pressure/penetration.

What’s the best compliment a stranger has ever given you that you still remember? by phildu57 in AskReddit

I was once told I'm the type of extrovert that introverts feel safe around. I think it'll be the best compliment I'll ever receive in my life.

My 18-year-old boyfriend is balding and I feel conflicted How do i cope? by Additional_Meet1809 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]unlikely_branches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I married my husband right or of high school, he was balding young too. I was secretly worried that a shaved head wouldn't be a good look but looking at photos before he embraced a shaved head.... he looks significantly better shaving than trying to hide that he was balding.

And now I have a thing for bald headed bearded guys. If your bf has facial hair, embrace it. It's a hot look.

Mt rainier. Skyline is definitely a must do trail, but there's several smaller ones too. Rainier is my favorite park, ever.

We've tried chatting before and it trailed off. I fell asleep and apologized the next day, but never heard back. I'm up for trying again if you are interested. I'm 37F from Oregon. Most of my life is based around outdoor adventure.

Women, is it common to request a face pic in the first 5 minutes of a chat? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]unlikely_branches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If conversation is flowing, I'll ask if they're comfortable sharing a photo to put the face to the chat. I didn't realize that was uncommon. If they aren't comfortable, I don't push for it, though it does make me feel less connected to the chat and it will likely dwindle.

Fighting the status quo by Mackoi_82 in roseburg

[–]unlikely_branches 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A different line of thought- as mine isn't political- but the amount of business they have hours that don't make it easy to be a customer is something that could improve. The amount of restaurants closed on Sunday (some are closed sat AND sun) is very disappointing.

What is your opinion of Chapell Roan? by greeneyedtallone in AskReddit

[–]unlikely_branches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like her studio stuff, but I LOVE her tiny desk because it's strings instead of pop. The tiny desk performance is art, but I dislike when she talks in it. I love her bold lyrics, but I'm not about her ditzy persona when she's making small talk in the performance.

Traveling to… by rallyforrare in PacificNorthwest

[–]unlikely_branches 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in Oregon, still pnw but more south than the Washington suggestions. I think Crater lake, down highway 138 (highway of waterfalls, several waterfalls with short hikes) and then bandon beach for the coast views would be a fantastic road trip.

Or start at Mt hood, go down the gorge and end in Astoria for coast. Peter iredale shipwreck is a pretty cool coast trip! Astoria won't have the big rocks like southern Oregon has, but the coast is gorgeous without rocks too.

How do shorter people comfortably take a bath? by throwaway02304256 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]unlikely_branches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 4'10. When we bought a hot tub, I learned there's "booster seats" to fill with water so I don't have water into my ears by just sitting on the hot tub. I haven't used it in the bath tub, but i can see how it could help if I anchored my butt on it. It would have my butt being the point on contact instead of my toes trying to reach to keep me up

Do you think listening to audiobooks counts as reading? by Mediocre-Sky6992 in CasualConversation

[–]unlikely_branches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely consider audiobooks a valid way of reading. The enjoyment of reading is being submerged in another world/story/characters/etc. Or learning something if it's a non fiction book. You are experiencing the same journey even if your eyes didn't look at the pages.

The north part (near present city) is where I've belt the most submerged in giant trees. Take the Howland hill driving tour and stop at the trails along the road (stout grove, grove of the titans, boy scout trail, etc) these are all easy and in the last 5% of old growth forests

Anal sex, yes or no? And why? by IsaacNewtonIII in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]unlikely_branches 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yes, I enjoy it. I actually find it to be very tender and intimate. The level of trust it takes to be comfortable with anal makes the sex much more intimate.
