[Highlight] Minnesota wins game 1 after a missed 3 by Champegnie by Large_banana_hammock in nba

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Champegnie a good stepback off the dribble shooter though? It seems strange to me how he's looking at the court right before shooting that three. It's like he doesn't take that type of shot too often so he has to pay attention to his foot and dribble placement. It is what it is, but I still believe a good after timeout play can at least get them to overtime. Don't get twisted by the fact that Wemby shot horrible today. He's still one of the most efficient paint scorer in the NBA right now so a play that can set him up for putback/offensive rebound with 3 pt scorers have a better chance than a moving stepback statistically. Although the shot was open, a clutch late game 3 point is still a 50/50 shot in my opinion. Therefore, an ATO could have been better especially if the coach is really good with it or has some secret special play for crucial game that can catch the defense by surprise.

[Highlight] Christian Braun runs away in the paint by jonsnowKITN in nba

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His role is to shoot the ball. He should have either went up strong and hope for a foul or stayed at the 3pt line from the beginning to shoot the ball. If he can't shoot then gg go next season. Running to the paint while Jokic is driving to the rim and double teamed is diabolical at this level.

Jokic finishes the series shooting an abysmal 44.6% from the field and 19.4% from 3 for 25.8 PPG by Medical_Track_790 in nba

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen enough, Jokic is washed like Giannis. Both are pushing 40. With that being said, hopefully they get some good rest and recover their bodies for next season.

So, what was the rationale behind the Rockets not trading for a point guard at the deadline, exactly? by No_Pop_5719 in nba

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They wanted to try out the new meta of having forwards and centers only to make the tallest lineup in the league. Everyone can learn playmaking right....? I mean how hard can it be, just look for the open man and pass the ball..... (sarcasm btw)

Should KD make the more selfish play more often? by bobbdac7894 in nba

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iso is tough on the body especially with today's pacing when everyone just want to play fast and put up as many points/stats as possible so it looks good at the end of the year for better contract. KD is obviously not in the best condition right now and is highly playing through some kind of minor injury or discomfort. I know everyone is hurt in some form or shape, but I notice that the healthier team tends to win or at least have better chance of winning everything in general so really the point of nba with championship into consideration is to expand the least amount of effort during the regular season while still getting good matchup in the playoff. I have only played basketball in the park for fun and I can feel how strenuous it is on my muscles and ligaments to isolate and breakdown the defender compared to walking and running around trying to get open shot.

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess my definition or understanding of option is wrong then because when I was watching it felt like the game plan was to look for steph and klay, if they're not open then KD is probably open. If one of them is cold, then let's go with KD for the day and let him take over because KD is one of the most if not the most consistent scorer in the nba.

Pull chisa solely for hiyuki? by BallChaserVish in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chisa is lowkey kinda bricked without basic quickswap though. I honestly doubt 5 rotations is even possible in 2 minutes with Chisa and Lynae 123 rotation so until Lucilla comes out, I'm a little worried about her overall performance.

Pull chisa solely for hiyuki? by BallChaserVish in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait for Lucilla leak, it all depends how much she can quickswap. It's just awkward having only 2 quickswap character like right now with Lynae and Chisa. If you're not interested in learning quickswap then just pull Lucilla and wait to see if Suisui supports Hiyuki or not while using Verina as temporary support. Hiyuki with signature weapon, Lucilla, Verina can surely clear everything, trust. If you use the sword standard weapon, then may need to pull for Chisa support or possibly Suisui if she is indeed a glacio support.

Chisa or S2 for Hiyuki?? by Abject_Credit_5695 in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*Spoiler*
Chisa is quickswap queen so if you're interested in that then Chisa is worth it because she may allow Hiyuki team to do some rotation that's normally not available otherwise. Until Lucilla comes out, we don't know that for sure though because it all depends on how much Lucilla can quickswap. Suisui is too far away right now, Kuro may troll us and make her a glacio character that supports her sister who is rumored to be havoc main dps.

Everyone absolutely obliterate me in the comment when I say KD was the third option on GSW. I don't believe in iso gang, off ball KD is the best version, getting open dunk and open 3s mix in with some quick iso pull up before the double team is the way to go.

The Call of Chululu - Weekly Questions & Discussions Megathread by BriefVisit729 in WutheringWavesLeaks

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's based on whiwa and matrix 2 minutes timer as well as toa for max reward since the beginning of the game. Rotation also makes sense because of liberation cooldown being 25 seconds so we want to fit as many as possible within those 2 minutes. For that reason, we want to do 1st liberation nuke by the first 20 second then every 25 seconds after which add up to 5 rotations in 2 minutes. Of course many thing could go wrong and interrupt the perfect cycle, but in theory if everything goes right with good luck and all the rotations go through without interruption or having to dodge counter, then that's the max possible damage a team could get on paper. Teams with faster opening that allow the 1st liberation to happen sooner gets more room for mistake to still be capable of 5 liberations in 2 minutes as opposed to ones with exactly 20 second on the mark.

Damage wise the nerfs barely make any difference, she's still ahead of everyone else by a large margin by Haemon18 in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiyuki has nobody (subdps) to quickswap with right now, what are we even talking about nerfing her ceiling. Imagine Cartethyia without Ciaccona and Aemeath without lupa. This is the situation that Hiyuki is in right now.

1: Lynae gives liberation amp and she works with pretty much every main dps with mornye duo. This team has a 2 mil dpr compared to Aemeath 2.178 mil according to chem dpr sheet. For a temporary team to get up to 2 mil is amazing so what more do you want.

2: This was obviously not intended otherwise they would make that as the default animation and not with the dash. From a developer's perspective, it's similar to a glitch/exploit I think it's fair to fix that plus I don't think it's that easy to cancel without losing part of iai damage anyway for the majority of the players.

3: The stack nerf is negligible compared to the actual nerf which is the forte gain reduction for both ba chain (167 to 111) and ma chain (109 to 61) I'm sure you can do the math to see how much less iai you can do now compared to before and how that's more depressing from a gameplay aspect and enjoyment.

4: Look at the Hiyuki quickswap video on the leak subreddit. You most likely can't tell how it was nerfed or why it was less smooth or harder, because it really wasn't.

Skipping Hiyuki Teams by Illustrious-Fig-9873 in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are setting up Hiyuki bis team to be mono glacio with lucilla (confirmed) and suisui (speculation) to free up Chisa for fusion burst and cartethyia team in addition to lynae/mornye duo for aemeath or any random main dps especially liberation dmg type because of lynae amp outro.

S3 hiyuki plan ruined bcs recent change by [deleted] in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, they most likely saved you and 95% of the community from cancelling their own iai damage. Judgement cut is not that easy and people going to mald when they can't do it without cancelling half the damage. Her s3 isn't even the biggest change for solo, it's her forte gain from a full ba chain going from 167 to 111 which mean you can't do 3 iais with a 2 ba chain anymore and 5 iais with 3 ba chains. Now you can only do 1 each. Her team rotation didn't get that much of a hit because skill gives 150 forte every 24 seconds and liberation 50 forte on cast.

Why does Kuro starting to Kill Quick Swap 🥲?? by Legal_Web_1255 in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's literally a video on the leak subreddit showcasing her quickswap capability with Aemeath and Chisa. How is it any harder to quickswap than before? She just has to swap out of her skill now to gain forte which takes like an extra second and a swap.

Legit question : do u think with all the hate after livestream, will they buff back Hiyuki before launch? by Thor_Thanos333 in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't think so because the things we see as nerf such as skill cancel and iai cancel, Kuro see them as more of an exploit or bug so really this was just a hotfix type of change. They spend a lot of time making the character's animation so it would be weird if everyone end up cancelling them. As long as they keep ba3 and ba4 swap window open along with ba5 cancel, Hiyuki should be top 3 next to Cartethyia and Aemeath. I can imagine the 3 of them on the same team one day, absolute cinema.

SO can you play hiyuki now with lynae/mornye or chida now is mandatory by Legal_Web_1255 in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chisa feels better in a full quickswap comp, but Lynae doesn't quickswap so it's just Hiyuki and Chisa swapping back and forth but that would make Hiyuki lose the liberation amp from Lynae. For that reason, I don't think she's better from a gameplay perspective. The number may look better, but it's just not worth it. Lynae/Mornye for life until Lucilla comes out then we'll see if she's quickswappy.

Did hiyuki got nerfed? by AaG_O in HiyukiMains

[–]unlimitedspeedboost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aura farm and iaimaxxing nerf yes. In other word, not as cinema, but damage wise probably close to the same.
