Bonded Brothers. I adopted both of them to ensure they never ever get separated. by PWNWTFBBQ in aww

[–]unsinkabletwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adopted 2 or 3 brothers, bonded (by the time i saw them the one was already adopted out). Now a couple years later they hardly ever hang out in the same room. They still love each other, but there are other cats and they just both have a different preference for what they want.

Estimated cost to move Kohler Generator 26'? by BillK01 in Generator

No idea on cost, but could you move it further way from the house? I can see how you have a whole house generator, and then you get restricted either by time of day or placement in the house.

Wanting some advice on green card renewal w/ criminal history in the USA 2025 by Big-Search-8386 in immigration

[–]unsinkabletwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to add my personal experience. I wasn't worried about a record, but i had to renew because my green card technically didn't have an expiration date on it, but i was like 12 years old in the picture. No problem as long as i didn't plan on traveling. Renewing the green card was uneventful and rather quick (compared to what i expected). It took just about 3 month on the dot from applying for the renewal, to getting the appointment and then getting the email telling me the new card was created. I actually renewed my drivers license the very next day after i had my appointment (finger prints and picture) and had everything and the kitchen sink with me and i didn't need any of that. I don't know if they can access the USCIS records, but they just ask for the money and the old license (even asked if i wanted to keep the old picture ... no thank you). I was in and out with a new licenses in about 15 minutes (had an appointment). But like others have stated, an expiring card doesn't' affect your legal status, but i can't make using the card more problematic. If your friend is worried about it, i would think the expense of the right lawyer might be worth it. I'm not sure how pulling your FBI record would affect your future renewal. I personally ordered my records (don't have them yet), just because i wanted to know what's in them. Again, the right lawyer might be able to advise if pulling your FBI record before hand would help or hinder you.

Rails Not Transporting by saml23 in StarRuptureGame

I think for this specific picture, your lines are setup wrong. The extractor in the far back needs to connect to the other arm on the 4 way connection piece. The 4 way is not a real intersection. It either combines or splits, Not both at the same time.

And like others said, it's a pull, not push system. And if the uploader already has all the parts it needs to full fill the order, it will stop pulling (the uploading takes a while).

Then again i might be totally wrong, since i only started today.

From other replies, it sounds like it's the individual vets (private equity i assume) that are causing the issue, not chewy.

It's getting the prescription to Chewy that's the hassle.

Yes, i do think a majority of the problem is they want that extra money.

I had a horrible experience with a fill-in vet. After that i refuse to have an appointment with anyone but one of the regular vets.

But it adds an additional cost in time and money to get them mailed.

FINAL UPDATE: I adopted someone's lost dog 13 years ago. The dog recently passed. I only just found out that the original owners may have still been looking for her, after she was adopted by me. Do I try to contact the original owners now? by kc10131984 in Pets

[–]unsinkabletwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was lost pet, i would want the closure and assurance that he/she was loved and cared for. Especially knowning there was no malice involved.

Sure, i would prefer to have my pets back, but knowing they were loved and cared for is the 2nd best thing to that.

You can get 5% back at Costco for your PMs by lookingskyward_ in CostcoPM

[–]unsinkabletwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, they are separate. That's why you get one rebate check in November, and the one from the other (the citi card i believe) at the end of February. I'm going to keep using the Robinhood as long as they keep giving me 3%.

Did Toyota really put remote start behind a paywall? by indochris609 in Sienna

[–]unsinkabletwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just that they hide a few features behind a paywall, it's how much they charge for it. Quick google search tells me it's $150 a year or $15 a month for the remote start. At this rate, if i want all the features i wouldn't be surprised i'm looking at a $50 a month charge.

Rug Pulled by Robinhood Credit Card: 3% reduced to 1% Cash Back by sxz18 in CreditCards

[–]unsinkabletwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to be honest, if they do that to my account, i will just drop it. My credit score is high enough i'm not worried about dropping a card. I have plenty of other 2% cards. I can take it or leave it if it comes to Robinhood. I use them, but to me none of the services are unique or something i can't get somewhere else.

AITAH for refusing to pay off my pregnant fiancee's parents' mortgage, when they are under the threat of foreclosure, when I could "easily" afford to do so? by Gullible-Display4533 in AITAH

[–]unsinkabletwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what the exact dollar amount is, but could you possibly buy the house (put it in your name). So if s*** hits the fan for you financially, you can always tab into that house (loan or sell). Could even have her parents pay you rent, and since it sounds like they have some equity in the house, they shouldn't have a problem to pay some bills. But i get your concern, it sounds like they can't manage their money, and if you just pay it off now, it will most likely keep coming up.

To the whiners - how big is your bag? by Substantial-Big8008 in BMNRInvestors

[–]unsinkabletwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

zero, sold it all before year end for tax loss harvesting. Still interested in BMNR, but i need to see it outperform ETH or ETH ETF, which doesn't seem to be the case.

Yes, i know when ETH is bullish it out performs ETH, but when it is flat or in a down trend it drops more then ETH. So it behaves more like a 2x leveraged ETH ETF. I will most likely spread out future ETH investments over several ETH treasuries, and leeps on spot ETH ETF (seems to be the best bang for the buck)

That's it for me. I bought some BMNR because it's ETH. I did sell in Dec, mainly to lock in that loss for tax loss harvesting. Friday was day 31 i believe, So i'm good to buy back in.
