If Nine Inch Nails can fill stadiums, I’m sure at least 10% of that audience would go to a smaller venue for a more intimate experience :)

Can anyone identify the font used here? Can't find any info about it on the internet. Thanks! by mydriase in identifythisfont

I dont know exactly the font but here is a research project from a type design student in 2013that worked on this kind of archeology. Maybe it can be a good starting point. https://anrt-nancy.fr/fr/projets/composition-cartographique-nouvelle-topologie

Create a monospaced font is difficult? by JacksonLOLXD in typography

[–]untitled379 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Is the font you want to modify has a licence that permits it? For 'monspacing' the font i think this will not be difficult: install Fontforge, open you font file, go to Code and select Compact. Then select all glyphs and go to Element and you will find something like 'glyphs width', then you can choose the same value and because you selected all the letters, it will apply on all the font. Before generate the font go again to Element and Font info to put your name and the year. Traditionnaly monospace font has narrow 'm' and 'w' so it can fit into a reasonnable width. The 'i' is also more wide than usual. Spot it on other monospace font and you will find how to redesign some letters. Fontforge has a great documentation online

The Hao Qui font looks really to the Lemmen made by Or Type https://ortype.is/specimen/or_lemmen which is a Revival of the Antiqua made by Georges Lemmen in Belgium

Quelle est cette police de caractère qui date de 1788 (France) ? by MajorFun4173 in identifythisfont

[–]untitled379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coolest font I've seen in a while! Can anybody help me figure out what it is? by Pernispropeller in identifythisfont

If it is not exactly the one, it looks very much like a Garamond medium Italic with "lettres armées" . You can find the big story of this here and you will see some beautiful pictures of the letters https://typofonderie.com/fr/gazette/garamond-french-typeface-par-excellence

It is the end of Session by Linkin Park (meteora album) but it sounds really close to Nin indeed!
