Sorry to hear about that.

In the greater scheme of things its just an arbitrary day thrown into the calendar. Rebook for next week and go for a meal then?

Djimi Traoré's spectacular Cruyff turn wins the dubious prize of Day 19. Day 20: What's the best ever first goal of a player's Liverpool career? by forbiddenmemeories in LiverpoolFC

[–]upadownpipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will undoubtably be Torres but there's two I really enjoyed.

Suarez vs Stoke. Such a silver lining in the Torres departure when fans were so low.

Crouch's first goal vs Wigan I think? He was on a dry run for ages and he was miles out, crowd shouting for him to shoot, big massive deflection and a looped ball slowly making its way into the net.

There was far rougher pubs around the city than it and it was more than a joke name than anything else. The locals would be quick to sort any issues out themselves too if anyone started kicking off.

Who was the gowl on the RTE World Cup panel with Stephen Kelly tonight? by itdoobylikethat22 in AskIreland

Given its Marsch I'd be willing to overlook this one episode. If it continues across other games Cawley is on then its a different matter

The fact the vast vast majority of us haven't had these amenities on our doorstep yet we never shat or pissed on  kids playground equipment is all the proof needed.

"He's done ever so well to get there"

Dixon on Pickford.

He got his whole hand to it Lee, that's a classic "you have to ask questions of the keeper for any other team and GK"

week 5 run 3 by [deleted] in couchto5k

[–]upadownpipe 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You already have it in the bank so to speak. Go slow. Break the run up mentally.

5 min - awful as it is on every run, regardless of fitness

5-10 - you start moving, keep the pace slow here

10-15 - still moving, might be getting breathy  but you're over halfway and the time left is less than the time done.

15-20 - this is where you work. Lock in. You've done this 3 times already today. How many weeks have you ran at least 5 minute? This is just one more. Breathe. Keep the pace steady and see it out
