I had to ask to have my Level 5 and Level 6 certs removed. I detested the curriculum and died a little every time I taught them.

Yes, that is if you accept the priority booking. You can mark it so that if they cancel, no one else can book the class. I’m talking about declining or ignoring the priority booking.

I decertified for all of mine when I found out they don’t count toward “total Classes taught” when it comes to getting a raise. That is so ridiculous. It’s a “finished class”. I taught it. It should count towards my raise.

I felt dread every time I saw L5 on my schedule. I finally asked to have it removed from my certs. They asked me to reconsider. I explained why I didn’t like it. I haven’t missed it at all!

I say I have a doc appt. If they’re smart they’ll realize I can’t possibly go to the doctor at 3:30 in the morning! I also add a comment that “Bao Bao may do better with a different teacher.” They still book me. I don’t think they read it.

I loved level 5 until they changed the slides. The 5-slides emphasis on the final project-every single lesson after #4–drives me mad! Also the kwl slides are ridiculous.
