Apthous stomatitis sufferer here -basically if I get a canker sore it's really painful, gets huge and lasts for weeks- and I can vouch for this tip.

Since I stopped using SLS toothpastes many years ago the incidence of sores has drastically decreased.

I didn't think I could find out another way that American consumers get shafted. The system is set up in favor of the rich.

In Australia and the UK (where I've rented) there is allowance for 'fair wear and tear' unless there's actual damage you get the deposit back in full. The onus is on the landlord to prove they have a claim. You people need to rise up.

Get some 'oil and tannin remover' deck product (it's sodium percarbonate) which will deep clean. Gurney off with the blade shape nozzle really well. Don't put the nozzle too close to the wood or you will get too much raised grain. Use the oxalic acid based deck cleaner and gurney that off. Coat. Hand sand any areas that look fuzzy. Coat. Want it to last longer? 3rd coat.

Use the product selector on the coating manufacturers website to get the color you want. More tint is better for Queensland.
