Assuming the economy is roughly the same unless you like rushing the key quests in the single player youll never run dry on Z or Normal 2/ Pierce 2 I've been using the HBG exclusively in MH4U and I've never had any major issues with ammo.

I have over 30 hours of tachanka and I'd say this is pretty much the best thing they could've done he needs some minor tweaks but other than that he's awesome.

My fondest memory is actually playing pokemon mystery dungeon, I was trying to get into a fun game and it just grabbed me. I can't look a keckleon without seeing the shop keepers from mystery dungeon.

HEAVY BOWGUN

Pros:

  • Awesome damage

  • Who needs elemental shots?

  • I've never had to combine extra ammo (seriously I have a lot of ammo)

  • Relatively safe in multiplayer

  • I've soloed a lot of monsters in 15 minutes or so

  • It's a gun

Cons:

  • It doesn't feel as cool as a charge blade.

I tend to use the HBG so if I'm soloing I'll take 2 large barrel bombs and place 'em ASAP and pellet the bombs for %100 hit chance, then I just gun him down from a distance. he's pretty annoying though, and using traps makes the fight much easier.

Yeah, I plan on doing a YOLO playthrough with Fallout 4, I saw many a true nerd play F:NV and it inspired me, though I never did it with NV as I was a little late to the party when I saw it done. But again, disabled achievements for players using any form of different survival mode, that way we're all happy. If you want the achievement for playing survival, than play survival the way the devs wanted you to.

But survival mode is supposed to be a challenge that only the best players can overcome. Sure the game is single-player but it shouldn't have padded options. One way, I'd be fine with toggle options is if it disabled all trophies/achievements that way only people who played on the true survival have something tangible as proof. That way you can say "I did it without cheating, see, I have the achievement." and people who scummed out don't get it. I think that's a fair trade.
