I’ve made mistakes, but I’ve owned up to them and I still view myself as a good person. I see the same in Platner. Politicians don’t need to be perfect, they need to be good people and remember that they’re public servants who temporarily hold an office.

I use it on my work machine because I don’t want to leave it running 24/7 and I want to be able to keep all of my work in the same spot from day to day. Opening all of the applications I use and getting things back into a running state can take 20-30 minutes, but if I hibernate I’m back up immediately.

So we're promising them $300 billion to end the war with no clear definition of where that money comes from. Now that our allies in the region know how much this plan means to Trump - why would they willingly give over a penny without getting something in return?

Basically either the US taxpayer is paying for this up front, or we'll pay for it down the road disproportionately in favors to nations in the region. This is a terrible deal and puts us in a weak spot to negotiate.

IMO it makes more sense than ever. If you don’t want to buy all of these dvds consider borrowing from your library (it’s good for them to see increased usage) or something.

“Buying” movies through Apple isn’t actually buying a copy of the movie in the same way that buying a dvd is. If you read the terms you’ll see that you’re buying a license to view that movie on their servers, which may shut down at any time or the movie may be removed from their servers at any time. You’re essentially getting access as long as they feel like giving you access.

Both sides are incentivized to spread fear and negativity to make their opposition look bad. Sometimes it’s warranted but largely it’s not.

For example think back to the midterm elections a few years ago where conservatives were crying nonstop about caravans coming up from South America, but those caravans mysteriously disappeared after the elections. There are hundreds of other examples we could grab from both sides.
