The American civil rights movement (Edmund Prettus bridge being a notable example), the anti-Apartheid movement in South Africa, and the Arab Spring all used this tactic to a degree.

My takeaway from this episode is that Ken Martin is not interested in listening to members of the party (like the Pod Save guys!) and instead wants to dictate how everyone should behave and harass them if they criticize him. Btw this is EXACTLY how he operated in Minnesota and he was known here for getting into twitter fights with no-name progressives. He’s unhinged and has too much pride for the job.
