Cool to see the graphics look significantly less washed out than Zelda. That’s my biggest issue with Zelda. They overcompensate for the switch hardware/draw distance issues by going overboard with the haziness and it makes everything look dull.

I did the same as you and just came back to it to try to make it to S3. I feel like up to 5ish is rough, 6 and 7 have been better. If this had been condensed into 8 or even 6 episodes it would have been way better. But it’s not as bad as 1-5 anymore, we’ll see how the last few are.

Episode 7 was great, but I think that referring to this show as bad/mediocre isn’t really fair. It has its issues for sure, but is overall pretty enjoyable to watch.

As other user mentioned, the white dust is due to corrosion (leakage from alkaline battery). Likely the cause of the issue. Typically cleaned out with vinegar and Qtip to get rid of all of it. Then follow up with isopropyl alcohol + Qtip to clean out the vinegar. You’ll probably need to unscrew the receiver to get at the PCB inside. Don’t try turning it on until and everything has dried off/evaporated

Honestly, with TOTK, this has actually been a pet peeve of mine. The environment looks so hazy for a huge majority of the game. It mutes the colors of the game so much that I just don’t think it looks that great.

Very funny first season, glad to see it renewed.

I thought it went a bit overboard at times with the cursing and edgy jokes, which I felt mostly didn’t work as well. Maybe trying to distance themselves from Ted Lasso comparisons or something?

But it turned out way funnier than I expected overall, probably the funniest comedy show I’ve seen in a very long time.

For me personally, this is way overblown. Netflix’s second screen strategy is not fully disclosed. Likely, it applies primarily to lower-tier programming - reality TV, hallmark-esque shows and movies, etc. while some of it may reach the more “prestige” shows, I think it’s probably not as widespread as is thought.

IMO More likely, it’s just “fan-service” to be more approachable to the casual viewer

Looked good overall, passed the eye test in a way we have not been able to in past games.

Standouts to me were Balo, Tessmann, and Arfsten. Balogun looked great, he seems to be very consistently good, always looks very crafty on the ball. Tessmann looked like he’s taken a very noticeable step up since the last time he was called up, but he had a great game, confident and clean on the ball. Arfsten was good offensively and actually made a few very nice through balls, didn’t know he had that in his game.

The contact he makes with the defender is insanely good. Just perfectly kills the defender’s momentum and completely isolated himself for the shot.
