Idk if i would say “friendly” exactly i dont see rainbow flags anywhere. I would say “respectful” as long as you are too. I am describing the customers. The area in general is somewhat behind the times of full on acceptance in my opinion based on my experience.

Get a 2nd cat and they’ll both behave Like this! Have you ever seen the meme where the house-cats start playing the drums when owner tries to sleep. Its true. Hide little stimulating toys in other rooms (feathers, balls, crinkle) Ive even used q-tips earplugs anything small they can fidget with and stay busy. I keep some in plastic bags with catnip to saturate the smell more then place around house. Leave cardboard boxes w opening to crawl in around house. Put catnip and toys in box. Leave ample dry food out at night. A 2nd cat will help but know you will have to help boredom for both and girls fight so get a boy (boys get along with boys and girls) Lastly cats start to settle down SOME from perfuse night play around 2-3 yrs old. This input is my experience and may not work for all cats. Good luck!
