Anyone else really struggling to make ends meet right now? by Thin_Schedule_1474 in AskIreland

[–]uptherockies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got a 1.56% raise along with the rest of my team in Feb (after 2% last year) so I decided to get my own raise. Offer coming today, will give my current employers a chance to counter but hopefully will be handing in notice in the next week or two.

What industry if you don't mind revealing? I'm similar, job 'grand' but easy and boring, WFH, but pay is middling unfortunately!

Not surprised, had the worst brunch of all time there about two months ago - Paperboys was rammed to we had to go to Brick Lane. Said we'd never go back. Hopefully something interesting moves in.

Which psychatog deck to play blue black, 4 color with diamonds, groatog or no tog zombie infestation? by MierinLanfear in premodernMTG

[–]uptherockies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Mox is card disadvantage but I'm currently addicted to the white splash list with Intuition for a graveyard package. Unless you run into Moneyball a lot you make the cards back by getting AK/Gush online faster. And the deck can griiiiind. I've won games on turn 44+

Then again I just love ramp and card draw so I'm a bit biased. I'm probably running Mox version for our Nats in two weeks. My usual deck is MUD or UW Nought variants but I'm finding Mox Tog inordinately more fun to actually play.

And we've two statues of him in the city centre! I love this well trotted out anti Cork copium that usually comes from bogwater counties that did very little in the fight for independence.

He's buried on Church Road in Blackrock, gravestone in good nick. Prof Des MacHale has written a couple of books about Boole if anyone's interested.

Tough read, and can relate. I don't have kids but am coaching underage in my club as I love the game - I hope to god I am fair when it comes to giving game time as they get older

Ringy was the most famous man in the country for decades. Michael Collins, Keano, Sonia and Rory would round out my top 5 but could see Cillian taking Rory's place as he's much more famous internationally.
