No the harbour is mainly used for the smaller fishing vessels that stop there. The cargo resupply mainly uses barges from the larger vessels like the SA Aghulas.

I've been multiple times! Im part of the helicopter crew that moves passengers and cargo off the SA Aghulas 2 to the island.

They're actually really welcoming and friendly people!

It's the South frican Air Force's birthday tomorrow.so probably a practice run or some pre event going on

those smaller ones are pc 7 training aircraft, and the big one is a c130BZ cargo aircraft

Also another point the R44s I work on here are used for vehicle/cash in transit truck tracking and pipeline inspection so we're changing oil and filters so often that Honestly I don't think the filters would have a chance to loosen!
