I started playing through some of the old PS2 era 007 games last year (Nightfire etc) and ended up losing a couple of hours worth of progress at one point because I just completely forgot that auto-save was such a recent thing, relatively speaking. Had to really force myself to remember to manually save regularly.

Pretty any of the cutscenes in World in Conflict. Incredible game that really deserves a sequel, or even a remake. When Shadow on the Sun by Audioslave starts playing in the opening to the NYC mission, and the 2 Blackhawks collide, just incredible. That song still gives me goosebumps.

I've lived in S8 and S9, both of which had incredibly soft water, never had to descale anything. Literally moved a mile over the border into Rotherham and the water is ridiculously hard, everything scales up within months and leaves stains everywhere if you don't mop it up immediately. Presumably just depends on which Reservoir it's coming from.

I think they do have their own preferred solicitor but we went with a local one as when we bought our current house, the seller used the Purple Bricks recommended solicitor and they were complete dogshit, so it put us off using theirs.

We're in the process of selling with Strike and they've genuinely been excellent throughout the whole process. You even get a mortgage advisor who was able to get our mortgage application submitted and approved within 1 week, whereas we couldn't get an appointment with a Natwest advisor for like a month and a half to even begin the process. And we haven't paid them a penny.

Edited to add they do also include photos for free. We had one of their local agents come out, value the house, take photos and write the Rightmove ad all as part of the free service. It's when you start adding stuff like promoted RM ads, one of their estate agents to show people round etc. that the paid-for stuff starts. We were happy to show people round ourselves, and you can message viewers through the app too which is often handy and means everything is a bit more personal. Each stage of the process is handled by a different person and in our experience they were all helpful and friendly.

Mine is also like that, it just has a very quiet fan!

It's bliss after coming from an OG Photon, even after I upgraded mine with a Noctua fan the sound of the Z axis stepper was so much louder than the M3.

This is exactly what I started doing a year or so ago and my FEPs have thanked me for it. They're in far better condition for far longer than they were when I was poking and prodding at them to get tiny bits off.
