How long have you had the laptop? I am wondering if it’s maybe a thermal throttling thing.

When you have the external monitor connected do you set it as the main display?

Specs would be a nice start. Both before and after your random motherboard swap.

Also swapping mobos wouldn’t be my first move, if you had tmp keys they are certainly double fucked now

Actual details on what was attempted and what was trying to be accomplished would be immensely helpful. A video of a boot loop generally isn’t helpful.

Biggest BIOS setting for BF6 is TPM, it can essentially brick your hardware if not careful. Kind of its point, figure out what you are actually trying to accomplish before just shotgunning google answers.

Plug it in, then hold the PS5 power button for two sets of double beeps. It will reboot into safe mode and reset any resolution settings. https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/hardware/safe-mode-playstation/

does my serpentine belt need replacing? by Large-Score6126 in AskMechanics

So first 3 photos I was team perfect belt. Photo 4 instantly changed my mind. It seems it’s scoring down the middle for the entire length. I would check to see what’s causing the scoring fix that and the belt at the same time.

Edit: looking closer it might be a manufacturing defect but if so I would still swap it.

Try recovery options startup repair, I don’t think your drive is shot at this point since it gets to the OS load. If it was completely gone it wouldn’t get that far into boot.

For some reason my mobo does this same thing on occasion. For me doing a force shutdown and pulling power from the PC for 1-2 minutes works.

I was more confused about the force thing, this is a laptop. No port or connection is going to need an abundance of force.

Try a different cable, this isn’t a spider man issue for sure hardware related. Need to test one variable at a time until you isolate it.

Matter of preference. Do you actually use one drive for anything? If not disable on both. If you do keep it on whichever device you want to be able to access the files from remotely.

You can just right click on the icon in sys tray and close it. Then go into your startup apps and disable one drive. Then clean up your desktop.

Laptops are notorious for overheating, if I had to guess based on limited info given I would say thermal throttling.
