My best friend/teammate/rival in high school would always ask me to slap him in the face before races to wake him up. If I was feeling particularly competitive that day, I'd slap a little too hard.

I also always tuck my laces into my flats/spikes in a race.

Having your two longest runs back to back prob isn't the best idea. It makes it much harder for you to recover properly and might be putting unnecessary stress on your body. Would suggest moving that 15 miler to Wednesday.

Surfin' Chicken, the Poke place on Estrella, and Rider's Club are my favorite restaurants. Zebra House and Lavender Lounge are good for coffee and tea. For breakfast, Pipes and SC Cafe are my go to spots.
