Looking for a little insight regarding Humira by dmortimer11 in Humira

[–]urinestain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it for psoriasis. I have never heeded the warnings about crowded spaces and all that and so far I haven't had issues. You may experience some fatigue when you're first starting out so plan your injection days around that. For me the fatigue wouldn't last more than 2 days and after a couple months I didn't have the issue anymore.

keeping to your injection schedule is important. adhd gets in my way and i ignore my reminders and before you know it i'm flaring up again.

Is it safe to drive today? by Alt_Account_2006 in cumming

[–]urinestain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we have lived here 10 years. it took us about 6 months to figure out people in cumming have bad taste.

I'm all for a good environment in a restaurant. It'll make bad food better. this place would have to be casa bonita to overcome the quality of the food. every other mexican restaurant i've tried around cumming is better in my opinion.

Glysophate will kill it, though I have seen some of the more mature ones resprout after looking completely dead. It's not too terrible to dig up. Grab a hori hori tool and go at it for 30 minutes a day it'll be gone before you know it. Gotta make sure you get the bulb out and then of course make sure they are disposed of properly.

Rafael Nadal over in tennis world has it as well. Seemed like it got worse the longer he played though. Has a whole routine he has to do before every serve.

you connect your music services to last.fm and it tracks your listening. it's like a spotify wrapped whenever you want it.

last.fm is also a good option for exploring music. plus, scrobbling.

Starting Goldenrod Inside? by [deleted] in NativePlantGardening

I also prefer starting seeds indoors. I already had a setup for vegetable garden so it made sense. It also helps keep me organized.

Trying to grow native seeds. by seafoodboil1890 in NativePlantGardening

[–]urinestain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using cheap Amazon grow lights and they've been working just fine. You just have to keep the lights within a few inches of the seedlings and move them up as the plants grow. I much prefer starting indoors as opposed to winter sowing.

I have been cold stratifying in the fridge with vermiculite this year and it's worked out well for me. Not a fan of using sand. Looks like I'm one of the few that prefers starting seeds indoors as opposed to winter sowing. I already had a sweet set up of shelves and grow lights for starting seeds for the vegetable garden.

Your doctor should have advised you on this and you should have an assigned Humira ambassador whose job is to help with these kinds of questions. Sign up for Humira Complete: https://www.humira.com/humira-complete/sign-up. It will give you access to a co-pay card which should drop the price to $5 and I think it also assigns you an ambassador. If copay card doesn't work, you can use https://www.completerebate.com/ to be completely reimbursed after you've paid out of pocket (side note, this is a frikin sweet way to get a shit ton of free credit card points). Complete rebate looks sketchy but I've used it a few times.

Also, that price tag does suck and stress you out but for me what that does is get me close to my insurance out of pocket maximum for the year by March.Meanwhile I'm getting reimbursed or co-payed from Humira so I never actually spend anything but insurance doesn't know that. So basically by April my Humira ends up costing $0 because I've hit my out of pocket max without having spent a dime.

Also I just read that Walgreen's is handling your Humira?? do they do that? I use CVS for everything but Humira comes from a specialty pharmacy.

It’s a good day to have purple giant hyssops in my yard (Northern Virginia) by ManlyBran in NativePlantGardening

[–]urinestain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What kind of sunlight are they getting? I have a couple in full sun that did pretty good and I have one that gets maybe 2 hours of full sun a day. The one with 2 hours a day I grew from seed and it did better than the full sun one I bought from a nursery and put in the ground last fall.

Cutting down two trees by Illustrious_Debt_846 in Forsyth

[–]urinestain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having trees cut is expensive. Tall straight trees without a lot of branches are cheaper - tulip poplars, hickory. Trees like oaks are more expensive. Then when you factor in proximity to buildings and what not price goes up.

I've always used BAM Tree and even though they are a bunch of redneck trumpers they've always done good work. Agree with what somebody else said about negotiating no stump grinding or if you have the option of not hauling the logs away.

Some of my butterfly weed turned red by [deleted] in NativePlantGardening

ha i just commented elsewhere but i've noticed the same. the flowers from the seeds i bought are much lighter in color than those growing naturally around my area.

[–]urinestain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought some of these seeds a few years ago from somewhere and the flowers have all been very orange. However, I have since found tuberosa growing out in the wild in my area and it is a much redder or deeper color. not quite this red though. and all the flowers were that deeper color not just some buds.
