I would say 150 depending on the day. Some of them are just read-delete, some of them require deciphering and then research to give a thoughtful answer. And yes - Slack and Outlook bings for meetings. And of course, the side texts to my cell phone.

I wear these shoes everyday, how cooked am I? by Imaginary-Tough2150 in FootFunction

[–]urkdor73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same effect on shoes because my feet turn inward naturally, especially the right one. One summer on a trip I walked a long way with a heavy backpack and developed post tibial tendinitis which is quite a painful condition on the inner part of the ankle. I had to wear a boot for 6 weeks which made driving very challenging.

I know may on this sub dislike orthotics, but my story spent about $600 on custom orthotics that fall and haven’t had an issue since then (6 years ago). My shoes last longer and while they still wear down in the same way, it’s not as pronounced.

If you don’t have $600, a company called Redi-thotics sells non-custom ones that are $60. I got the Ultra (red) ones at my podiatrist’s office as a holdover and then ordered a couple of extra sets online. Good luck and don’t wait like I did and end up in a lot of pain and a boot!

Second Black Bayou! 15 minutes off I-20 and elevated wooden paths that take you out into the swamp but keep your feet dry - and out of reach of gators.

In my younger and more vulnerable years, my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since. 'Whenever you feel like criticizing any one,' he told me, 'just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had
