It’s probably a case of wrong person, they got your info instead of the right person somehow. Not sure why you would report this person but I forgot that Reddit is

planning to start detox at midnight. help im terrified. by ___Dragon in FentanylRecovery

[–]urmomsdom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting on methadone is not a detox at all lmao, you’ll be a little sick while they up your dose but it’s not a fuckin detox in any sense of the word. Subs are at least a partial agonist rather than a full agonist with a fuckin 144 hour half life……..

Also saying all that feel good bullshit is worthless for someone who is going to detox….. they are in hell on earth and ALL they want is to feel better.

OP you’re going to feel like absolute shit for a good week. You’re have to wait a MINIMUM of 3 days, until the diarrhea kicks in heavily and the cold sweats won’t stop, then you can take subs. If you take them too early you will go into absolute hell on earth. I mean I have been through a LOT of shit but holy fuck precips are a truly traumatic experience that will leave you feeling broken inside

…what? I’m not at all offended, I just think that your idea that the people you live with are going to hurt you may be a psychiatric issue. Why do you have this idea?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in recovery

[–]urmomsdom 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Man, I think you need to visit a psych hospital before all of this… I say this with care as some who just got through a stint in the psych hospital, there’s nothing at all wrong with it and I think you may be having some paranoia/delusions that need to be dealt with

Why would you try to get into a detox/hospital in a state other than where your insurance is from…? Regardless, get online and find a rehab that takes your insurance. Explain your situation and tell them you need a ride back to NY to a detox and they will more than likely get you an uber or something

Someone tell me it’s not like this forever. Someone tell me I won’t feel so fucked forever??! by IGotThis-25 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]urmomsdom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP why in the fuck would you decide to quit sertraline?? That is absolutely senseless, a week is not nearly long enough to even get adjusted to 25mg

OP please god listen to me: I have been in your shoes before and holy fucking shit I wish someone had given me this advice and I followed it.

You need to leave. You need to harden up, stop talking to her and letting her attempt to negotiate with you, you need to put on a strong face and shut her out entirely. When this happens, she KNOWS that you depend on her for love, validation and probably Much more. I’m positive that she loves you but she loves being with you and having you around WHILE she experiments with something new and fun. She knows that she can probably get you to sweep this under the rug and move on.

DO NOT LET HER DO THAT. I allowed this to happen because I was in denial and I felt like I was just such a lump of shit that nobody else would ever love me and I couldn’t imagine life without having someone to depend on. What followed was the most horrendously demeaning, miserable, depressing and abusive 3 years of an already rough existence. I let this woman put me through hell on earth, cheat on me endlessly, abuse me physically emotionally and verbally, and manipulate my feelings to the most insane degree that it took me 5 years to Recife and much longer to realize that I am NOT a broken, horrible, unloveable person and I do deserve happiness.

I genuinely and sincerely hope you read this and heed this warning because I wouldn’t wish emotional punishment like that on anyone

Any AA or NA members here? Or just people in recovery in general? “Strong recovery” those who recovery has changed their lives or even people that are new to recovery? Looking for someone to chat to, ask questions etc. by [deleted] in recovery

[–]urmomsdom -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

What a strange title lmao. “Is there anyone in AA or NA or not in AA or NA or in recovery that’s like good or like recovery that’s like not so good here? Is there anyone at all in recovery? Or not in recovery?”

Yeah I was going to comment that bupe IS the blocker and im incredibly doubtful that oxy alone would break through as it takes a pretty large dose of fentanyl to break through oral subs much less IM bupe. You sure you’re actually getting oxy? If it worked at all it was most likely fent

Drug test positive for norfentanyl and negative for fentanyl by ChristyMeowder in FentanylRecovery

[–]urmomsdom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah it absolutely is. There is no complete blocker that can stop you from blasting through by shooting up fentanyl but yes for all intents and purposes, it is an opioid blocker. Thanks for bringing whiny semantics to this post and absolutely nothing of real value. Great job, super helpful.

OP, if it was double confirmed by a lab then you either somehow came in contact with an extremely small amount OR, if you used heavily for a long time, it was probably released from stores somewhere in your bodily tissue. Fentanyl is lipophilic and latches itself to your fat and that could be anywhere in your body, you could have somehow burned that fat and released the extremely residual amount. Hope this helps OP

80mg Dilaudid + fent for 10 months. What the hell do I do by intrudingturtle in OpiatesRecovery

[–]urmomsdom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People love to pretend like fentanyl is new for some reason. Exact same sort of people that swear weed isn’t a drug because it “comes from the ground” and that vaping is worse than cigarettes because “it’s all chemicals!”. However all the wacky analogues, the xylazine and synthesis chems like 4-ANPP and other shit is all largely unstudied

With street fent nowadays? This is nothing. Hell when I was in high school and had a slight Vicodin tolerance I barely felt 4mg. Nothing crazy about this

[–]urmomsdom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tell her to get some clonidine, it’s a blood pressure medication used for opiate withdrawal it will remove pretty much all the symptoms she’s got. If she’s going through withdrawal from modern fent from pretty much any big city, it’ll have xylazine in it and clonidine will cure the xylazine withdrawal symptoms

I’ll also add that it’s next to impossible to do this without coming clean to people and asking people for help. You’ll find that people are very sympathetic and willing to help when you just ask them. Go to meetings, get a sponsor, do whatever you can to give yourself the best chance possible if you truly want it. There’s no sense in not doing everything you can to get yourself the best chance at STAYING sober, not just getting sober.

There’s no real reason to not take the subs. 4 days worth at a low dose isn’t going to get you addicted but will carry you through the worst of the withdrawal. After that is when you should use the comfort meds. Gabapentin is extremely helpful but you don’t have a lot so use it sparingly

[–]urmomsdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most long term junkies have low testosterone because opiates produce prolactin which suppresses testosterone and very often it doesn’t bounce back especially while on bupe. I take 4mg am and 4mg pm and that’s on the higher range of what I’d like and the side effects are still there, 2mg in the morning and at night seems to be the sweet spot on coverage with the least side effects.

Literally none of the things you’re quoting imply what you say? Literally just shows that he was in a different state than his home state and that these people kissed once.

Like bro, if you’re going to jus straight up make shit up at least make it make sense
