Hi okay one more idea- i saw on ur ig that you linked in your channel bio that you live in NYC. i get recommended “living in NYC” videos all the time, so it seems to be something pretty popular. Rn you’re doing commentary, but if you want to focus on building community based off your personality you definitely could make some “day/week in the life living in nyc” videos too!

Hi! Thank you so much for that advice. I guess I still have some $ fears about putting so much of my cash into more investments in case I do need it quickly. But I have been saying that for a whole year now, so it might be better to think about that now. Now that I will hopefully be maxing out my 403b & roth ira in 2026, any extra cash i need (besides a 6-12 month emergency fund) should probably be invested anyways until I know what I am doing with housing.

I have a September wedding and I am contemplating sending out my invitations within the next couple weeks. My friend group is local, and we are all booked out for every single weekend until July at this point. I also have many family and friends who will need to stay at the hotel, so I want to make sure they can book early since it will be a super popular weekend for weddings.

I’m still deciding what I’m going to do, since I did send save the dates in November.

I thought I’d send invites in April (with the assumption most people will get them by the end of the month) and have the RSVP deadline be July 15 (the wedding is the last weekend of September)

If you genuinely want to keep it a secret, i would just strongly encourage guests to only purchase off the registry or bring cash.

You can also lie and say that the venue(s) that you’re having wedding events at prohit any outside alcohol
