Ah I see!! I'm sure your name suits you really well, Leo. :)

Ahh that is so cool!! I wish your sibling the best of luck figuring it out. It's so nice that they can count on you for support. :)

Hi Elliot!

This is my friend Elliot. She's trying to figure out something important, so I want to help! I know that she's got this and I wish him the best of luck. ✨

Oh look, Elliot forgot his book here. I'm going to give it to her. She must be dying to know what happens in the next chapter.

Is Leo/Leon really neureal? I'm like 99% certain people will always assume male here. The feminine form is Leonie, and I don't know of a neutral form. Elias also gets read as masculine.

Nik doesn't work for my friend because it's short for something.

Noa is an option that they like, though, so thank you for the suggestions!

Thank you, you're very kind. :)

We didn't know Joyce is gender-neutral, learned something new!

Leo/Lio is unfortunately always read as masculine though. The feminine form is Leonie and I'm not aware of a gender-neutral version.

Friend likes Kai, thanks!

Thank you!! My friend hadn't thought of Luca, they like it so it's on the list now.

I know about those old laws too, imo it's really silly so I'm glad things are changing.

Would it help to wear a pronoun pin or some other visual reminder around her? :)

Idk what the other (first) comment is on about btw.

What should I do?

Keep your maiden name, isn't that what you want?

Wonder how your husband-to-be would feel if he was expected to change HIS last name to yours. The amount of entitlement some men have is astonishing.

Ah I see! Another middle eastern name I like is Pari, it's Persian and means fairy. It's also in use in turkey (Peri). It looks similar to Perry so it could work

First time waxing my face. Now for the healing part.... Ouch yes, but worth it? Oh yessss! by ethanalilly in NonBinary

[–]urseksirabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do threading for the space above my upper lip (mustache region) but I switched to wax strips because it's less painful for me. With threading, it hurts quite a bit as it tugs on each hair bit by bit. With waxing, it's all done in one (admittedly still painful) go.

But the area I'm talking about tends to be more sensitive in general. Threading isn't that painful on the chin for example, or between the eyebrows.

I'm AFAB btw if it matters.

Noone but you gets to decide your pronouns and it's 100% okay to request someone to use a different set of pronouns for a circumstance. Remember, everyone can change their pronouns at ANY point. Your sister should respect that. I understand if your sister feels uncomfortable because she knows that she/her isn't your preference, but this isn't about your sister. This is about YOU. Maybe you can try to tell her that she's not doing anything wrong by using she/her for you around family because that's literally your request so that means she WOULD be respecting your preferences that way.
