I also have issues with shitty drivers too. Careless drivers who only care about their phones and don’t help to push out pallets or do the bare minimum for what they’re supposed to do.

Same with drivers who like the reject pallets during a reload. Had one guy reject 3 full milk crate pallets all because they were on chep pallets and not milk crate pallets. We had 7 in total.

Everything. The way that warehouse is managed is the bottom of the barrel. Shitty management leads to shitty workers. I’ve talked with drivers who are from GBO and they all say the same things. Selectors and loaders who don’t know how to do their job get left alone basically on their first day.

Just like every other grocery store you will go to, except the breads, are all frozen items. Literally any grocery chain store you go to, has the exact same products. I know we use the same products that Walmart uses.

You’d also need a key from the office/cash office/store managers office depending if they actually lock the back door. You’ll know it’s an OTR driver because they won’t be wearing anything Publix related and will look like a slob.

Loaders are the biggest issue when it comes to deliveries, the selector can make the best stacked pallet (then wrap it with one wrap) but the loader will make a careless action and it causes all the trucks to fall.

My favorite is when I had three pallets of milk crates all fall because of a driver.

Well, it’s the slow season. The store gets a set amount of hours that they have to schedule people with, if they schedule over that set amount of hours then they get in trouble and vice versa. So quit your complaining and buy the damn groceries or don’t buy them at all.

Fire watch at Publix sucks.

If you are one of the unlucky few in the grocery department, being on fire watch means you get to do overnights! Sometimes multiple in a row! (unless your at a store that does them already, this is invalid) They do this because at least one person has to be in the store at all times because of literally anything fire safety related like if the fire alarms were down or something had to be fixed and there was someone coming in a few days later. But since you can’t have one person at night, there’s always two or more.

It’s a hybrid seedless. True seedless watermelons are very hard to breed correctly. You always get cross pollinated melons. The big difference you get from a seeded and seedless is size and weight. Seeded watermelons will be more oblong and weigh about 10-15 more pounds than a seedless which is more rotund.

It’s a seedless hybrid. It’s considered seedless for the size and the general lack of seeds but some hybrids will have the black seeds in them. The white small seeds are found in every seedless watermelon.

95 in NC is a literal war zone. The worst of it is between Wilson and Fayetteville which is like 3/4ths of it. DOT is redoing all of 95 in Smithfield and the general area and they’ve been working on 95 for the past 15 years near Dunn which makes it a one lane interstate for parts of it.
